Tafsir de la sourate Ar-Rahman
Ar-Rahman 55:1
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
Le Tout Miséricordieux
The Most Merciful
Ar-Rahman 55:2
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
a enseigné le Coran
Taught the Qur'an
Ar-Rahman 55:3
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
à l’homme qu’Il a créé
Created man
Ar-Rahman 55:4
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ
et auquel Il a appris à s’exprimer.
[And] taught him eloquence
Ar-Rahman 55:5
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ
Le soleil et la lune obéissent à des lois bien déterminées.
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation
Ar-Rahman 55:6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ
Les herbes et les arbres se prosternent avec humilité.
And the stars and trees prostrate
Ar-Rahman 55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
Il a élevé le ciel et établi l’équité.
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
Ar-Rahman 55:8
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
Fuyez donc toute forme d’iniquité.
That you not transgress within the balance
Ar-Rahman 55:9
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
Pesez équitablement sans jamais frauder.
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance
Ar-Rahman 55:10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ
Il a fait de la terre un lieu parfaitement adapté à la vie
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures
Ar-Rahman 55:11
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
où l’on trouve des arbres fruitiers, tels les dattiers aux régimes entourés de leurs spathes,
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
Ar-Rahman 55:12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
des céréales dans leurs balles et des plantes à l’odeur agréable.
And grain having husks and scented plants
Ar-Rahman 55:13
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:14
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
Il a créé l’homme d’une argile semblable à celle du potier,
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery
Ar-Rahman 55:15
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ
et Il a créé les djinns à partir d’un feu pur de toute fumée.
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire
Ar-Rahman 55:16
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:17
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
Il est le Seigneur des deux levants et Celui des deux couchants.
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets
Ar-Rahman 55:18
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:19
مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
Par Sa volonté, les deux types d’eau se côtoient
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]
Ar-Rahman 55:20
بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ
sans jamais se mélanger, étant séparés par une barrière invisible.
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses
Ar-Rahman 55:21
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:22
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
De ces eaux sont extraits les perles et le corail.
From both of them emerge pearl and coral
Ar-Rahman 55:23
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:24
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
C’est Lui qui a soumis aux hommes les vaisseaux sillonnant les mers, telles des montagnes altières.
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains
Ar-Rahman 55:25
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:26
كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ
Tout ce qui se trouve à la surface de la terre est voué à disparaître.
Everyone upon the earth will perish
Ar-Rahman 55:27
وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
Seul demeurera le Visage, tout de majesté et de gloire, de ton Seigneur.
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
Ar-Rahman 55:28
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:29
يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ
Tous ceux qui peuplent les cieux et la terre Lui expriment sans cesse leurs besoins. A chaque instant, Son œuvre se manifeste.
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter
Ar-Rahman 55:30
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:31
سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
Nous allons nous charger de vous, hommes et djinns.
We will attend to you, O prominent beings
Ar-Rahman 55:32
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:33
يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
Peuples de djinns et d’hommes ! Si vous croyez pouvoir franchir les limites des cieux et de la terre, alors faites-le. Mais vous n’y parviendrez pas sans un certain pouvoir.
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]
Ar-Rahman 55:34
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:35
يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
Seront projetées contre vous des flammes et une fumée auxquelles vous ne pourrez échapper.
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves
Ar-Rahman 55:36
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:37
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
Le Jour où le ciel se déchirera et prendra une couleur écarlate.
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
Ar-Rahman 55:38
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:39
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Nul besoin, ce Jour-là, d’interroger les hommes et les djinns sur leurs péchés.
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn
Ar-Rahman 55:40
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:41
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
Les impies, reconnaissables à leurs traits particuliers, seront saisis par le toupet et les pieds.
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet
Ar-Rahman 55:42
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:43
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
« Voici la Géhenne que les impies traitaient de mensonge ! »
This is Hell, which the criminals deny
Ar-Rahman 55:44
يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ
Ils feront d’incessants va-et-vient entre le feu et une eau bouillante.
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]
Ar-Rahman 55:45
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:46
وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
A ceux qui redoutent de comparaître devant leur Seigneur sont réservés deux vergers.
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens
Ar-Rahman 55:47
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:48
ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ
Deux vergers aux branches garnies des fruits les plus variés.
Having [spreading] branches
Ar-Rahman 55:49
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:50
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ
Deux vergers qui, de deux sources vives, sont arrosés.
In both of them are two springs, flowing
Ar-Rahman 55:51
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:52
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ
Deux vergers qui, de chaque fruit, produisent deux variétés.
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds
Ar-Rahman 55:53
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:54
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ
Ils reposeront sur des tapis aux revers de brocart, les fruits du Paradis à leur portée.
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low
Ar-Rahman 55:55
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:56
فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
S’y tiendront des houris au regard chaste, que ni homme ni djinn n’aura avant eux déflorées.
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
Ar-Rahman 55:57
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:58
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
Des femmes ayant l’éclat de la perle et, du rubis, la pureté.
As if they were rubies and coral
Ar-Rahman 55:59
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:60
هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
Y aurait-il d’autre récompense pour ceux qui font le bien que l’éternelle félicité ?
Is the reward for good [anything] but good
Ar-Rahman 55:61
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:62
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
En deçà de ces deux jardins se trouvent deux autres vergers.
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens
Ar-Rahman 55:63
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:64
مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ
Deux vergers à la végétation d’un vert extrêmement foncé.
Dark green [in color]
Ar-Rahman 55:65
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:66
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
Deux vergers qui, de deux sources jaillissantes, sont arrosés.
In both of them are two springs, spouting
Ar-Rahman 55:67
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:68
فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ
Y poussent des arbres fruitiers à l’image du dattier et du grenadier.
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates
Ar-Rahman 55:69
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:70
فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ
S’y tiendront des femmes dotées de toutes les qualités et d’une extrême beauté.
In them are good and beautiful women
Ar-Rahman 55:71
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:72
حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ
Des houris aux grands yeux noirs, chastement retirées dans leur gynécée.
Fair ones reserved in pavilions
Ar-Rahman 55:73
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:74
لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Des femmes que ni homme ni djinn n’aura avant eux déflorées.
Untouched before them by man or jinni
Ar-Rahman 55:75
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:76
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ
Ils seront, sur des coussins verts, accoudés et, sur de somptueux tapis, allongés.
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets
Ar-Rahman 55:77
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur oserez-vous renier ?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
Ar-Rahman 55:78
تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
Béni soit le nom de ton Seigneur, Dieu de majesté et de générosité.
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
