Soera Az-Zumar (39) — De Scharen · الزمر
Mekkaanse soera, 75 verzen, als 59e geopenbaard.
Oprechtheid in de aanbidding en de scharen die naar het Paradijs en het Vuur worden geleid.
Az-Zumar 39:1
تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
De openbaring van dit Boek is van Allah, de Almachtige, de Alwijze.
The revelation of the Qur'an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise
Az-Zumar 39:2
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَٱعۡبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
Waarlijk, Wij hebben het Boek aan jou (O Mohammed) in waarheid neergezonden; aanbid dus (alleen) Allah zuiver.
Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion
Az-Zumar 39:3
أَلَا لِلَّهِ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡخَالِصُۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مَا نَعۡبُدُهُمۡ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلۡفَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ فِي مَا هُمۡ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَنۡ هُوَ كَٰذِبٞ كَفَّارٞ
Zeker, de godsdienst is uitsluitend voor Allah, en degenen die helpers naast Hem nemen (zeggen): “Wij aanbidden hen alleen maar zodat zij ons nader tot Allah kunnen brengen.” Waarlijk, Allah zal tussen hen oordelen over datgene waarover zij van mening verschillen. Waarlijk, Allah leidt de leugenaar en de ongelovigen niet.
Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever
Az-Zumar 39:4
لَّوۡ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدٗا لَّٱصۡطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۖ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ
Als Allah zich een kind wilde nemen, dan had hij zeker uit degenen die hij heeft geschapen wie hij wil gekozen. Maar Verheven is Hij (boven wat zij liegen over Allah). Hij is Allah, de Ene, de Onweerstaanbare.
If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing
Az-Zumar 39:5
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيۡلِۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۗ أَلَا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ
Hij heeft de hemelen en de aarde met waarheid geschapen. Hij laat de nacht in de dag overgaan en laat de dag in de nacht overgaan. En Hij heeft de zon en de maan onderworpen; ieder gaat voor een vastgestelde periode. Waarlijk, Hij is de Almachtige, de meest Vergevende.
He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver
Az-Zumar 39:6
خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزۡوَٰجٖۚ يَخۡلُقُكُمۡ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ خَلۡقٗا مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَلۡقٖ فِي ظُلُمَٰتٖ ثَلَٰثٖۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصۡرَفُونَ
Hij heeft jullie (allen) uit een enkel ziel geschapen, daarna heeft Hij daaruit zijn vrouw geschapen. En Hij heeft voor jullie van het vee acht paren neer gezonden. Hij heeft jullie in de baarmoeders van jullie moeders geschapen, schepping na schepping in drie sluiers van duisternis, Dat is Allah, jullie Heer. Aan Hem is het Koninkrijk. Geen heeft het recht om aanbeden te worden behalve Hij. Hoe kunnen jullie je dan afkeren?
He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted
Az-Zumar 39:7
إِن تَكۡفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمۡۖ وَلَا يَرۡضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلۡكُفۡرَۖ وَإِن تَشۡكُرُواْ يَرۡضَهُ لَكُمۡۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Als jullie ongelovig worden, Waarlijk, heeft Allah jullie niet nodig. Hij houdt niet van het ongeloof voor Zijn dienaren. En als jullie dankbaar zijn is Hij daarmee tevreden. Geen lastdrager zal de last van een ander dragen. Dan tot jullie Heer is jullie terugkeer, vervolgens zal Hij jullie vertellen wat jullie plachten te doen. Waarlijk, Hij is de Alwetende van wat in de harten is.
If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts
Az-Zumar 39:8
۞وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ضُرّٞ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٗ مِّنۡهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ مِن قَبۡلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادٗا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ قُلۡ تَمَتَّعۡ بِكُفۡرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ
En als iets de mens kwetst, keert hij roepend tot zijn Heer in berouw, maar als Hij hem een gunst (van Allah), dan vergeet hij waarom hij eerst Allah gesmeekt heeft en dan kent hij Allah rivalen toe, zodat anderen van Zijn pad worden afgeleid. Zeg: “Geniet maar korte tijd van jullie ongeloof; waarlijk, jij bent (één) van de bewoners van het vuur!”
And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire
Az-Zumar 39:9
أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدٗا وَقَآئِمٗا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
Maar is degene die gehoorzaam is aan Allah, neerknielt en staat gedurende de uren van de nacht (het nachtgebed: heel belangrijk voor elke moslim), het hiernamaals vreest en op de genade van zijn Heer hoopt (gelijk aan degene die ongehoorzaam zijn)? Zeg: “Zijn degenen die kennis hebben gelijk aan de onwetenden?” Het zijn slechts de bezitters van goede harten die het zullen herinneren.
Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding
Az-Zumar 39:10
قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمۡۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٞۗ وَأَرۡضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّـٰبِرُونَ أَجۡرَهُم بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ
Zeg: “O mijn dienaren die geloven vrees jullie Heer en onderhoudt jullie verplichtingen tot Hem. Goed is (de beloning) voor degenen die goed in deze wereld doen, en de aarde van Allah is wijd! Slechts degenen die geduldig zijn (tijdens beproevingen), zullen hun beloning volledig ontvangen zonder berekening (in maten of eenheden)."
Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account
Az-Zumar 39:11
قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
Zeg: “Waarlijk, mij is bevolen om (alleen) Allah zuiver te aanbidden.
Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion
Az-Zumar 39:12
وَأُمِرۡتُ لِأَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
En mij is bevolen om de eerste te zijn van degenen die zich aan Allah als moslim te onderwerpen.”
And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims
Az-Zumar 39:13
قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ
Zeg: “Waarlijk, ik vrees de bestraffing van een grote dag als ik ongehoorzaam aan mijn Heer zal zijn.”
Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day
Az-Zumar 39:14
قُلِ ٱللَّهَ أَعۡبُدُ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُۥ دِينِي
Zeg: “Alleen Allah aanbid ik zuiver.
Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion
Az-Zumar 39:15
فَٱعۡبُدُواْ مَا شِئۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيهِمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
Aanbid dus wat jullie willen naast Hem." Zeg (o Mohammed): “De verliezers zijn zij die zichzelf en hun familie op de Dag der Opstanding verliezen. Waarlijk, dat zal een duidelijk verlies zijn!"
So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss
Az-Zumar 39:16
لَهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥۚ يَٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ
Zij zullen bedekkingen van vuur boven hen hebben en bedekkingen (van vuur) beneden hen, hiermee beangstigt Allah Zijn dienaren: “O Mijn dienaren, vrees Mij”.
They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me
Az-Zumar 39:17
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱجۡتَنَبُواْ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ أَن يَعۡبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ لَهُمُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰۚ فَبَشِّرۡ عِبَادِ
Degenen die (de Taghoet) afgoden vermijden door hen niet te aanbidden en zich tot Allah in berouw keren, voor hen is er goed nieuws, verkondig het goede nieuws aan Mijn dienaren, -
But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants
Az-Zumar 39:18
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحۡسَنَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
Degenen die naar het woord luisteren (de Koran en de Soennah) en het volgen op de beste manier, dat zijn (degenen) die Allah geleid heeft en dat zijn de bezitters van goede harten.
Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding
Az-Zumar 39:19
أَفَمَنۡ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِي ٱلنَّارِ
Zijn dan degenen voor wie het woord van de bestraffing gerechtvaardigd is (gelijk aan degenen die het kwaad vermijd) Zal jij (o Mohammed) hij die in het vuur is, redden?
Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire
Az-Zumar 39:20
لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ غُرَفٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهَا غُرَفٞ مَّبۡنِيَّةٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ
Maar degenen die Allah vrezen en hun plichten tot hun Heer (Allah) vervullen, voor hen worden Verheven kamers gebouwd, de ene boven de ander waaronder rivieren stromen. Dat is de belofte van Allah, en Allah is niet nalatig voor Zijn belofte.
But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise
Az-Zumar 39:21
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعٗا مُّخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصۡفَرّٗا ثُمَّ يَجۡعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًاۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
Zien jullie niet dat Allah water uit de hemel naar beneden stuurt en het de aarde laat doordringen (en het naar boven laat komen) als bronnen en daarna daardoor oogsten van verschillende kleuren maakt, en daarna verdorren zij en jullie zien het geel worden, en Hij maakt het droog en laat het verschrompelen. Waarlijk, hierin is een herinnering voor de bezitter van goede harten.
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding
Az-Zumar 39:22
أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ
Is degene van wie Allah zijn borst heeft verruimd voor de Islam en op de weg van zijn Heer loopt, gelijkt aan de ongehoorzamen. Wee dus voor de harten die zich tegen het gedenken van Allah gehard hebben! Zij verkeren in duidelijke dwaling!
So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error
Az-Zumar 39:23
ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبٗا مُّتَشَٰبِهٗا مَّثَانِيَ تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمۡ وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٍ
Allah heeft het beste Woord neer gezonden, een Boek, waarvan haar delen elkaar weerspiegelen en vaak gereciteerd wordt, waardoor de huiden van degenen die hun Heer vrezen rillen. Dan verzachten hun huid en hun hart zich door het verlangen naar Allah. Dat is de leiding van Allah. Hij leidt daarmee wie Hij wilt en wie Allah laat dwalen, voor hem is er geen leiding.
Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide
Az-Zumar 39:24
أَفَمَن يَتَّقِي بِوَجۡهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡسِبُونَ
Is hij dan die op de Dag der Opstanding met zijn gezicht de vreselijke bestraffing afgaat (gelijk aan degene die vredig het paradijs binnengaat)? En er zal tegen de onrechtvaardigen gezegd worden: “Proef wat jullie verdiend hebben!”
Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn
Az-Zumar 39:25
كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Degenen voor hen verloochenden en dus kwam de bestraffing van alle kanten op hun af zonder dat zij het besefte.
Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive
Az-Zumar 39:26
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخِزۡيَ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
Zo liet Allah hen de vernedering in het huidige leven proeven, maar groter is de bestraffing van het hiernamaals, als zij dat maar wisten!
So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew
Az-Zumar 39:27
وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
En voorwaar, Wij hebben voor de mens in deze Koran allerlei soorten voorbeelden gegeven, zodat zij daaruit lering kunnen halen.
And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember
Az-Zumar 39:28
قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيۡرَ ذِي عِوَجٖ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ
Een Arabische Koran zonder enige afwijking (daarin) zodat zij Allah zullen vrezen.
[It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous
Az-Zumar 39:29
ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا رَّجُلٗا فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ مُتَشَٰكِسُونَ وَرَجُلٗا سَلَمٗا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًاۚ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Allah geeft een voorbeeld – een slaaf die vele meesters heeft die onderling verdeeld zijn en een slaaf die volledig toegewijd is aan één meester; zijn deze twee gelijk in de vergelijking? Alle lof zij voor Allah! Maar de meesten van hen weten het niet.
Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know
Az-Zumar 39:30
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٞ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ
Waarlijk jij (O Mohammed) zal sterven en waarlijk, zij zullen (ook) sterven.
Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die
Az-Zumar 39:31
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمۡ تَخۡتَصِمُونَ
Dan op de Dag der Opstanding zullen jullie voor jullie Heer redetwisten.
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute
Az-Zumar 39:32
۞فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدۡقِ إِذۡ جَآءَهُۥٓۚ أَلَيۡسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثۡوٗى لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
Wie is er meer onrechtvaardiger dan degenen die over Allah liegt en de waarheid ontkent als het tot hem komt! Is er dan niet in de hel een woonplaats voor de ongelovigen?
So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers
Az-Zumar 39:33
وَٱلَّذِي جَآءَ بِٱلصِّدۡقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ
En hij die de waarheid heeft gebracht (de Profeet Mohammed) en degene die daarin gelooft (Abu Bakr) dat zijn de godvrezenden.
And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous
Az-Zumar 39:34
لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Zij zullen alles wat zij van hun Heer wensen, hebben. Dat is de beloning voor de weldoeners.
They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good
Az-Zumar 39:35
لِيُكَفِّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَسۡوَأَ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
Zodat Allah het slechte dat zij hebben gedaan verwijderd en hen de beloning geeft in overeenstemming met het beste wat zij gedaan hebben.
That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do
Az-Zumar 39:36
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبۡدَهُۥۖ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٖ
Is Allah niet voldoende voor zijn dienaar? Toch proberen zij jullie bang te maken met degenen (die zij) naast Hem (aanbidden)! En wie Allah laat dwalen, daarvoor is geen leiding.
Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide
Az-Zumar 39:37
وَمَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّۗ أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٖ ذِي ٱنتِقَامٖ
En wie Allah leidt, voor hem zal er geen misleider zijn. Is Allah niet Almachtig, de bezitter van de Vergelding?
And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution
Az-Zumar 39:38
وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَادَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلۡ هُنَّ كَٰشِفَٰتُ ضُرِّهِۦٓ أَوۡ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحۡمَةٍ هَلۡ هُنَّ مُمۡسِكَٰتُ رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ قُلۡ حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُۖ عَلَيۡهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
En waarlijk, als jij (O Mohammed) hen vraagt: “Wie heeft de hemelen en de aarde geschapen?” Zeker zij zullen: “Allah” zeggen. Zeg: “Vertel mij dan welke zaken jullie naast Allah aanbidden, - als Allah mij kwaad wil doen, kunnen zij Zijn kwaad dan verwijderen, of als Hij (Allah) wat genade voor mij heeft, kunnen zij Zijn genade tegenhouden?” Zeg: “Allah is voor mij voldoende, in Hem leggen degenen die vertrouwen hun vertrouwen.”
And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers
Az-Zumar 39:39
قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَٰمِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Zeg (O Mohammed): “O mijn volk! Werk op jullie manier. Ik werk (op mijn manier). Jullie zullen daar spoedig achter komen,
Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know
Az-Zumar 39:40
مَن يَأۡتِيهِ عَذَابٞ يُخۡزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيۡهِ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٌ
Tot wie een vernederende bestraffing komt, en op wie de altijd durende bestraffing neerdaalt.”
To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment
Az-Zumar 39:41
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لِلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡهَاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
Waarlijk, Wij hebben tot jou (O Mohammed) dit Boek voor de mensen in waarheid neergezonden. Iedereen die dus de leiding accepteert, doet dat alleen voor zichzelf, en iedereen die dwaalt, dwaalt alleen voor zijn (eigen) verlies. En jij bent geen voogd voor hen.
Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them
Az-Zumar 39:42
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلۡأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوۡتِهَا وَٱلَّتِي لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِي مَنَامِهَاۖ فَيُمۡسِكُ ٱلَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Het is Allah Die de zielen afvoert bij het intreden van de dood, alsook (de zielen) van de levenden die (tijdelijk) inslapen. (Dan) houdt Hij de zielen achter waarvoor Hij de dood heeft bepaald, en stuurt de rest voor een vastgestelde termijn terug (naar hun levenloze lichamen om te kúnnen ontwaken). Waarlijk hierin zijn tekenen voor mensen die diep nadenken.
Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought
Az-Zumar 39:43
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُفَعَآءَۚ قُلۡ أَوَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَعۡقِلُونَ
Hebben zij anderen als bemiddelaars naast Allah genomen? Zeg: “Zelfs als zij (de valse goden) geen macht hebben en geen verstand?”
Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess [power over] anything, nor do they reason
Az-Zumar 39:44
قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ جَمِيعٗاۖ لَّهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
Zeg: “Aan Allah behoort alle voorspraak toe. Hij heeft de soevereiniteit van de hemelen en de aarde en tot Hem zullen jullie teruggebracht worden.”
Say, "To Allah belongs [the right to allow] intercession entirely. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned
Az-Zumar 39:45
وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُ ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ
En als Allah alleen wordt genoemd, vullen de harten van degenen die niet gelovigen in het hiernamaals zich met afschuw en als degenen (naast Hem) worden genoemd, zie, zij verheugen zich!
And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice
Az-Zumar 39:46
قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ عَٰلِمَ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
Zeg: “O Allah! Schepper van de hemelen en de aarde. Alwetende van de het onwaarneembare en het waarneembare, U zult over de zaken waarover Uw dienaren van mening verschilden, oordelen.”
Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between your servants concerning that over which they used to differ
Az-Zumar 39:47
وَلَوۡ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦ مِن سُوٓءِ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يَكُونُواْ يَحۡتَسِبُونَ
En als degenen die onrecht pleegden, alles wat op aarde is en het gelijke daarvan als losprijs op de Dag des Oordeels aanbieden om henzelf van de kwade bestraffing te bevrijden dan zouden ze dat zeker doen. En Allah toont aan hen duidelijk waar zij geen rekening mee hielden.
And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account
Az-Zumar 39:48
وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
En het kwade van wat zij verdiend hadden zal voor hen duidelijk getoond worden, en zij zullen omringd zijn met datgene wat zij bespotten!
And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule
Az-Zumar 39:49
فَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ضُرّٞ دَعَانَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلۡنَٰهُ نِعۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمِۭۚ بَلۡ هِيَ فِتۡنَةٞ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
En als iets de mens kwetst, keert hij roepend tot Ons en als Wij het dan voor hem in een gunst van Ons veranderen, zegt hij: “Alleen maar vanwege de kennis heb ik het verkregen.” Welnee, het is slechts een beproeving, maar de meesten van hen weten het niet!
And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know
Az-Zumar 39:50
قَدۡ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
Waarlijk, degenen vóór hen zeiden dit, en toch ondervonden zijn geen nut van wat zij deden (aan daden slecht in de bestraffing).
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn
Az-Zumar 39:51
فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ سَيُصِيبُهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَمَا هُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ
Dus de kwade gevolgen van hun verdiensten overmanden hen. En degenen van hen die onrecht pleegden zullen ook door de kwade gevolgen van hun verdienste overmand worden en zij zullen nooit in staat zijn om te ontsnappen.
And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure
Az-Zumar 39:52
أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Weten zij dan niet dat Allah de voorziening vergroot voor wie Hij wil en het beperkt Waarlijk, hierin zijn tekenen voor een volk dat gelooft!
Do they not know that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe
Az-Zumar 39:53
۞قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Zeg: “O Mijn slaven die tegen zichzelf onrecht hebben gepleegd! Wanhoop niet aan de genade van Allah (aangaande Zijn vergiffenis en toelating tot het paradijs), waarlijk Allah vergeeft alle zonden. Waarlijk, Hij is de meest Vergevende, de meest Barmhartige.
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful
Az-Zumar 39:54
وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَأَسۡلِمُواْ لَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ
Maar keer in berouw en geef je geheel over (aan Allah en zijn wetten), voordat de bestraffing over jullie komt, daarna zullen jullie niet geholpen worden.
And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped
Az-Zumar 39:55
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَحۡسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ
En volg het beste van dat wat voor jullie van jullie Heer neer is gezonden, voordat de bestraffing plotseling tot jullie komt terwijl jullie het niet door hebben!"
And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive
Az-Zumar 39:56
أَن تَقُولَ نَفۡسٞ يَٰحَسۡرَتَىٰ عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنۢبِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ ٱلسَّـٰخِرِينَ
Zodat niemand zegt: "O wat spijtig voor mij dat ik niet plichtsgetrouw tot Allah was en ik was zeker onder degenen die spotten.”
Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers
Az-Zumar 39:57
أَوۡ تَقُولَ لَوۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Of hij zou zeggen: “Als Allah mij maar had geleid, dan zou ik zeker onder de godvrezenden zijn.”
Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous
Az-Zumar 39:58
أَوۡ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى ٱلۡعَذَابَ لَوۡ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةٗ فَأَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Of hij zou zeggen wanneer hij de bestraffing ziet: “Als ik maar een andere kans had gehad dan zou ik onder de weldoeners zijn.”
Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good
Az-Zumar 39:59
بَلَىٰ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكَ ءَايَٰتِي فَكَذَّبۡتَ بِهَا وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
"Welzeker! Er zijn tot jou Mijn tekenen (de Koran) gekomen en jij hebt die ontkend en was trots en was onder de ongelovigen.”
But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers
Az-Zumar 39:60
وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ تَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسۡوَدَّةٌۚ أَلَيۡسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثۡوٗى لِّلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
En op de Dag der Opstanding zal jij degenen die tegen Allah gelogen hebben, zien, hun gezichten zullen zwart zijn. Is er in de hel geen verblijfplaats voor de hoogmoedigen?
And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant
Az-Zumar 39:61
وَيُنَجِّي ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ بِمَفَازَتِهِمۡ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلسُّوٓءُ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ
En Allah zal degenen die godvrezend zijn naar hun plaatsen van succes brengen. Het kwaad zal hen niet raken, noch zullen zij bedroefd zijn.
And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve
Az-Zumar 39:62
ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٞ
Allah is de Schepper van alle zaken en Hij is de Zaakwaarnemer over alle zaken.
Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs
Az-Zumar 39:63
لَّهُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
Aan Hem behoren de sleutels van de hemelen en de aarde. En degenen die niet in de tekenen van Allah geloven zullen zeker tot de verliezers behoren
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers
Az-Zumar 39:64
قُلۡ أَفَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَأۡمُرُوٓنِّيٓ أَعۡبُدُ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ
Zeg: “Bevelen jullie mij om anderen dan Allah te aanbidden. O jullie dwazen?”
Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones
Az-Zumar 39:65
وَلَقَدۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ لَئِنۡ أَشۡرَكۡتَ لَيَحۡبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
En voorwaar, het is aan jou (O Mohammed) geopenbaard zoals het aan degenen vóór jou geopenbaard is: “Als je in de aanbidding van Allah andere deelgenoten toekent dan zullen zeker (al) je daden verloren gaan en dan zul je zeker onder de verliezers verkeren.”
And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers
Az-Zumar 39:66
بَلِ ٱللَّهَ فَٱعۡبُدۡ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
Welee! Maar aanbid slechts Allah en behoor tot de dankbaren.
Rather, worship [only] Allah and be among the grateful
Az-Zumar 39:67
وَمَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ جَمِيعٗا قَبۡضَتُهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطۡوِيَّـٰتُۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
En zij kennen Allah niet de Verhevenheid die hem toekomt. En Op de Dag der Opstanding zal de aarde volledig in Zijn greep zijn, terwijl de hemelen in Zijn rechterhand zullen worden opgerold. Verheven en verheerlijkt is Hij boven alles wat zij als deelgenoten aan Hem toekennen!
They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him
Az-Zumar 39:68
وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخۡرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمۡ قِيَامٞ يَنظُرُونَ
En de bazuin zal geblazen (door een engel) worden en alles wat in de hemelen is en alles wat op aarde is zal wegsterven, behalve wat Allah wil. Dan zal het een tweede maal geblazen worden en zie, zij (de mensen en djinn) zullen staan, rondkijken (uit angst).
And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on
Az-Zumar 39:69
وَأَشۡرَقَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ وَجِاْيٓءَ بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ
En de aarde zal stralen met het licht van haar Heer en het Boek (waar alle daden in staan zowel van het hart, de tong en de ledematen) zal open geplaatst worden en de profeten en de getuigen zullen naar voren worden gebracht en er zal tussen hen in waarheid geoordeeld worden en niemand zal onrecht aangedaan worden.
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged
Az-Zumar 39:70
وَوُفِّيَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ
En ieder persoon zal volledig vergoed worden voor wat hij gedaan heeft; en Hij is Alwetend over wat zij doen.
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do
Az-Zumar 39:71
وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَاۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنۡ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
En zij die ongelovig zijn zullen in groepen naar de hel gedreven worden, en als zij het bereiken, zullen de poorten daarvan geopend worden. En haar wachters zullen zeggen: “Zijn er geen boodschappers tot jullie gekomen – die de verzen van jullie Heer voor jullie reciteren en jullie voor de ontmoeting van deze Dag waarschuwen?” Zij zullen zeggen: “Welzeker! Maar het woord van de bestraffing was tegen de ongelovigen gerechtvaardigd!”
And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, "Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "Yes, but the word of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers
Az-Zumar 39:72
قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ أَبۡوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
Er zal gezegd worden: "Treed de poorten van de hel binnen om daarin eeuwig te verblijven. En wat een slechte verblijfplaats voor de hoogmoedigen!”
[To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant
Az-Zumar 39:73
وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ طِبۡتُمۡ فَٱدۡخُلُوهَا خَٰلِدِينَ
En degenen die hun Heer vrezen (Taqwa hebben bereikt, door middel van kennis opdoen zonder daarin lui te worden en deze kennis in daden omzetten) zullen in groepen naar het paradijs geleid worden, als zij daar aankomen zullen de poorten worden geopend en de wachters zullen zeggen: “Salamoen aleikoem! Jullie hebben het goed gedaan, kom binnen om hier eeuwig in te verblijven.”
But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter]
Az-Zumar 39:74
وَقَالُواْ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي صَدَقَنَا وَعۡدَهُۥ وَأَوۡرَثَنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ حَيۡثُ نَشَآءُۖ فَنِعۡمَ أَجۡرُ ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
En zij zullen zeggen: “Alle lofprijzingen komen (alléén) Allah toe, Die Zijn belofte aan ons is nagekomen en ons het land (het paradijs) heeft doen erven. Wij vertoeven in het paradijs waar en hoe wij maar willen: wat een uitmuntende beloning voor de(wel)doeners!”
And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers
Az-Zumar 39:75
وَتَرَى ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ حَآفِّينَ مِنۡ حَوۡلِ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡۚ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ وَقِيلَ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
En jij zal de engelen rondom de troon (van Allah) zien, Die hem lofprijzen en verheerlijken. En er zal in waarheid beoordeeld worden en er zal gezegd worden: “Alle lof zijn voor Allah, de Heer van de werelden.”
And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds
