Koran 39:22 — soera Az-Zumar, vers 22

أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ

Is degene van wie Allah zijn borst heeft verruimd voor de Islam en op de weg van zijn Heer loopt, gelijkt aan de ongehoorzamen. Wee dus voor de harten die zich tegen het gedenken van Allah gehard hebben! Zij verkeren in duidelijke dwaling!

So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so he is enlightened by his Lord [like a disbeliever]? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened upon hearing the reminder of Allah; it is they who are clearly misguided.
