Tafsir de la sourate Al-Mutaffifin
Al-Mutaffifin 83:1
وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ
Malheur aux fraudeurs
Woe to those who give less [than due]
Al-Mutaffifin 83:2
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ
qui, pour eux-mêmes, exigent la pleine mesure,
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full
Al-Mutaffifin 83:3
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ
mais qui trichent lorsqu’ils mesurent ou pèsent pour autrui.
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss
Al-Mutaffifin 83:4
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ
Ces gens ne croient-ils pas qu’ils seront ressuscités
Do they not think that they will be resurrected
Al-Mutaffifin 83:5
لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ
en un jour absolument terrifiant,
For a tremendous Day
Al-Mutaffifin 83:6
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Jour où les hommes comparaîtront devant le Seigneur de la Création ?
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds
Al-Mutaffifin 83:7
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ
En vérité, les impies sont voués à la plus infâme des prisons.
No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen
Al-Mutaffifin 83:8
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ
Mais qui pourrait t’indiquer ce qu’est vraiment cette prison ?
And what can make you know what is sijjeen
Al-Mutaffifin 83:9
كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ
Leur sort en est d’ores et déjà scellé.
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
Al-Mutaffifin 83:10
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
Malheur, ce Jour-là, à ceux qui auront rejeté la vérité,
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
Al-Mutaffifin 83:11
ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
refusant de croire au Jour du jugement dernier !
Who deny the Day of Recompense
Al-Mutaffifin 83:12
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
Or, seul renie son avènement tout impie et pécheur invétéré,
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor
Al-Mutaffifin 83:13
إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
qui, lorsque Nos versets lui sont récités, dit : « Ce ne sont là que légendes du passé ! »
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples
Al-Mutaffifin 83:14
كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
Non ! Mais leurs cœurs ont fini par être voilés par leurs péchés.
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning
Al-Mutaffifin 83:15
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ
Un voile les privera donc, ce Jour-là, de la vision de leur Seigneur.
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned
Al-Mutaffifin 83:16
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
Puis ils seront introduits dans le Brasier dont ils ressentiront la chaleur
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire
Al-Mutaffifin 83:17
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
et où il leur sera dit : « Voici le châtiment que vous traitiez de mensonge ! »
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny
Al-Mutaffifin 83:18
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ
En vérité, les pieux croyants sont promis aux plus hauts degrés.
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun
Al-Mutaffifin 83:19
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
Mais qui pourrait t’indiquer ce que sont vraiment ces degrés ?
And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun
Al-Mutaffifin 83:20
كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ
Leur sort en est d’ores et déjà scellé,
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
Al-Mutaffifin 83:21
يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
comme en témoignent les anges rapprochés.
Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]
Al-Mutaffifin 83:22
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
Les pieux croyants sont promis à tous les délices.
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
Al-Mutaffifin 83:23
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
Sur de somptueux lits, ils promèneront leurs regards,
On adorned couches, observing
Al-Mutaffifin 83:24
تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
tandis que leurs visages rayonneront de félicité.
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure
Al-Mutaffifin 83:25
يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخۡتُومٍ
Leur sera servi un vin de toute pureté, soigneusement gardé,
They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed
Al-Mutaffifin 83:26
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ
laissant un arrière-goût de musc - que ceux qui aspirent à cette félicité rivalisent donc de piété -
The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete
Al-Mutaffifin 83:27
وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ
et mêlé à une boisson tirée de Tasnîm,
And its mixture is of Tasneem
Al-Mutaffifin 83:28
عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
source à laquelle se désaltèreront les rapprochés.
A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink
Al-Mutaffifin 83:29
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ
Les impies se moquaient sur terre des croyants
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed
Al-Mutaffifin 83:30
وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
s’échangeant des clins d’œil lorsqu’ils passaient devant eux.
And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances
Al-Mutaffifin 83:31
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ
Puis, de retour chez eux, ils se plaisaient encore à les railler.
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting
Al-Mutaffifin 83:32
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ
Voyant les croyants, ils disaient : « Ces gens-là sont vraiment égarés ! »
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost
Al-Mutaffifin 83:33
وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ
Or, ils n’ont été chargés ni de veiller à leur salut, ni de les surveiller.
But they had not been sent as guardians over them
Al-Mutaffifin 83:34
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ
Mais ce Jour-là, ce sont les croyants qui se moqueront des impies
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers
Al-Mutaffifin 83:35
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
qu’ils regarderont du haut de leurs somptueux lits.
On adorned couches, observing
Al-Mutaffifin 83:36
هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ
Les impies ont-ils reçu le prix mérité de leurs infamies ?
Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do
