Sourate Al-Buruj (85) — Les Constellations · البروج
Sourate mecquoise, 22 versets, révélée en 27e position.
Les constellations et les croyants de la tranchée, restés fidèles à travers le feu.
Al-Buruj 85:1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
Par le ciel et ses constellations !
By the sky containing great stars
Al-Buruj 85:2
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
Par le Jour qui vous est promis !
And [by] the promised Day
Al-Buruj 85:3
وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ
Par les témoins et l’objet de leur témoignage !
And [by] the witness and what is witnessed
Al-Buruj 85:4
قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
Que périssent les gens du fossé
Cursed were the companions of the trench
Al-Buruj 85:5
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
où brulait un feu sans cesse alimenté
[Containing] the fire full of fuel
Al-Buruj 85:6
إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ
au bord duquel ces impies s’étaient installés,
When they were sitting near it
Al-Buruj 85:7
وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
assistant aux persécutions infligées aux croyants
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses
Al-Buruj 85:8
وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
auxquels ils reprochaient uniquement de croire en Allah, digne de toutes les louanges et Tout-Puissant,
And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy
Al-Buruj 85:9
ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
Maître absolu des cieux et de la terre. Mais Allah est, de toute chose, le témoin vigilant.
To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness
Al-Buruj 85:10
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
Ceux qui persécutent les croyants et les croyantes, sans ensuite se repentir, sont voués au châtiment de la Géhenne et aux tourments d’un feu ardent.
Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire
Al-Buruj 85:11
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Quant à ceux qui croient et accomplissent de bonnes œuvres, leur sont réservés des jardins traversés de rivières. Voilà le bonheur suprême.
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment
Al-Buruj 85:12
إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
La vengeance de ton Seigneur est terrible.
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe
Al-Buruj 85:13
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
C’est Lui qui est à l’origine de la Création qu’Il recommencera.
Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats
Al-Buruj 85:14
وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ
C’est Lui le Très Clément, le Dieu d’amour,
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate
Al-Buruj 85:15
ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ
le Maître du Trône à la gloire infinie,
Honorable Owner of the Throne
Al-Buruj 85:16
فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
Celui qui agit toujours comme Il l’entend.
Effecter of what He intends
Al-Buruj 85:17
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ
T’est-il parvenu le récit des armées
Has there reached you the story of the soldiers
Al-Buruj 85:18
فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ
de Pharaon et de Thamoud ?
[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud
Al-Buruj 85:19
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ
Mais les impies persistent à renier la vérité,
But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial
Al-Buruj 85:20
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ
sans savoir qu’Allah les cerne de tous côtés.
While Allah encompasses them from behind
Al-Buruj 85:21
بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ
Ceci est un livre sublime, à n’en point douter,
But this is an honored Qur'an
Al-Buruj 85:22
فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ
consigné sur une table soigneusement gardée.
[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate
