Sourate Ad-Duhaa (93) — Le Jour montant · الضحى
Sourate mecquoise, 11 versets, révélée en 11e position.
La lumière du matin : ton Seigneur ne t'a pas abandonné.
Ad-Duhaa 93:1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
Par le jour qui répand sa clarté !
By the morning brightness
Ad-Duhaa 93:2
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
Par la nuit qui étend son obscurité !
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness
Ad-Duhaa 93:3
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
Ton Seigneur ne t’a ni abandonné, ni détesté.
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]
Ad-Duhaa 93:4
وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
L’au-delà te réserve une plus grande félicité.
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]
Ad-Duhaa 93:5
وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ
Ton Seigneur t’accordera de quoi te combler.
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied
Ad-Duhaa 93:6
أَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيمٗا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
Ne t’a-t-Il pas, te trouvant orphelin, entouré d’attentions ?
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge
Ad-Duhaa 93:7
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلّٗا فَهَدَىٰ
Ne t’a-t-Il pas, te trouvant ignorant, enseigné la vraie foi ?
And He found you lost and guided [you]
Ad-Duhaa 93:8
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلٗا فَأَغۡنَىٰ
Ne t’a-t-Il pas, te trouvant démuni, placé au-dessus du besoin ?
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient
Ad-Duhaa 93:9
فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ
Prends donc garde de traiter durement l’orphelin
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]
Ad-Duhaa 93:10
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ
ou de repousser le mendiant sans nul ménagement.
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]
Ad-Duhaa 93:11
وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ
Et proclame les grâces de ton Seigneur hautement !
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]
