Soera At-Taghabun (64) — Het Wederzijdse Verlies · التغابن

Medinische soera, 18 verzen, als 108e geopenbaard.

De Dag van wederzijds verlies en winst — vertrouwen op Allah en vergeving.

At-Taghabun 64:1

يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

Wat zich in de hemelen en op aarde bevindt verheerlijkt Allah. Aan Hem is het rijk en aan Hem behoort het koningschap toe en alle lof, en Hij is tot alle dingen in staat.

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent

At-Taghabun 64:2

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ كَافِرٞ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

Hij is het Die jullie geschapen heeft, sommigen van jullie zijn dan ongelovigen en sommigen gelovigen. En Allah is Alziende van wat jullie doen.

It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing

At-Taghabun 64:3

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

Hij heeft de hemelen en de aarde in waarheid geschapen en Hij heeft jullie gevormd en heeft jullie een goede vorm gegeven en tot Hem is de uiteindelijke terugkeer.

He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination

At-Taghabun 64:4

يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Hij weet wat in de hemelen is en wat op aarde is, en Hij weet wat jullie verbergen en wat jullie in de openheid brengen. En Allah is de Alwetende van wat in jullie borsten is.

He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts

At-Taghabun 64:5

أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

Is het nieuws niet tot jullie gekomen over degenen die in de vroegere tijd ongelovig waren? En zo proefden zij het kwade gevolg van hun ongeloof en voor hen zal er een pijnlijke bestraffing zijn.

Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment

At-Taghabun 64:6

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٞ يَهۡدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُواْ وَتَوَلَّواْۖ وَّٱسۡتَغۡنَى ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ

Dat was omdat tot hen hun boodschappers met duidelijk bewijs waren gekomen maar zij zeiden: “Zullen slechts mensen ons leiden?” Dus waren zij ongelovig en keerden zich af, en Allah had (hen) niet nodig. En Allah is rijk. De meest prijzenswaardige.

That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allah dispensed [with them]; and Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy

At-Taghabun 64:7

زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَن لَّن يُبۡعَثُواْۚ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبۡعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ

De ongelovigen doen zich voor dat zij nooit zullen herrijzen. Zeg: Welzeker! Bij mijn Heer, jullie zullen zeker verrijzen en dan zal jullie verteld worden wat jullie hebben gedaan, en dat is gemakkelijk voor Allah.”

Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy

At-Taghabun 64:8

فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلۡنَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

Geloof daarom in Allah en Zijn boodschapper en in het licht dat Wij naar beneden hebben gestuurd. En Allah is Alwetend van wat jullie doen.

So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do

At-Taghabun 64:9

يَوۡمَ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡجَمۡعِۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحٗا يُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

(En gedenk) de dag wanneer Hij jullie (allen) zal verzamelen op de dag van de verzameling – dat zal de dag van wederzijds verlies en winst zijn. En iedereen die in Allah gelooft en goede daden verricht, Hij zal hen hun zonden vergeven en Hij zal hem naar de tuinen verwijzen waar rivieren onderdoor stromen om daarin voor altijd te verblijven, dat zal een groot succes zijn.

The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment

At-Taghabun 64:10

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

Maar degenen die ongelovig zijn en Onze tekenen ontkennen, zij zullen de bewoners van het vuur zijn, om daarin voor altijd te verblijven. En slecht is die bestemming zeker.

But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination

At-Taghabun 64:11

مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

Geen ramp komt, zonder de (bepaling en) toestemming van Allah. En al wie in Allah geloof, zijn hart leidt Hij (naar het tevredenheid en geduld met de beproevingen). En Allah is Alwetend over alle zaken.

No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things

At-Taghabun 64:12

وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Gehoorzaam Allah en gehoorzaam de boodschapper maar als jullie je afkeren, dan is de plicht van Onze boodschapper slechts het duidelijk verkondigen

And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification

At-Taghabun 64:13

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

Allah! Geen heeft het recht om aanbeden te worden behalve Hij, en laat daarom de gelovigen in (alleen) Allah hun vertrouwen leggen.

Allah - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allah let the believers rely

At-Taghabun 64:14

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدِكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا لَّكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡۚ وَإِن تَعۡفُواْ وَتَصۡفَحُواْ وَتَغۡفِرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ

O jullie die geloven! Waarlijk onder jullie vrouwen en onder jullie kinderen zijn vijanden voor jullie, hoed je dus voor hen! Maar als je hen vergiffenis schenkt en hen negeert en vergeeft, dan waarlijk, Allah is meest Vergevend, meest Genadevol.

O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

At-Taghabun 64:15

إِنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ

Jullie welvaart en jullie kinderen zijn slechts beproevingen, terwijl bij Allah een grote beloning is.

Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward

At-Taghabun 64:16

فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَٱسۡمَعُواْ وَأَطِيعُواْ وَأَنفِقُواْ خَيۡرٗا لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

Onderhoud jullie verplichtingen t.o.v. Allah zover jullie daartoe in staat zijn en luister en gehoorzaam en geef uit in liefdadigheid, dat is beter voor jullie. En iedereen die van zijn eigen hebzucht is gered dat zijn de succesvollen.

So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful

At-Taghabun 64:17

إِن تُقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعِفۡهُ لَكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

Als jullie Allah een goede lening lenen zal Hij het voor jullie verdubbelen, en zal jullie vergeven. En Allah is meest Dankbaar, meest verdraagzaam.

If you loan Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing

At-Taghabun 64:18

عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

Allah is de Alwetende van het onwaarneembare en het waarneembare, de Almachtige, de Alwijze.

Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise
