Soera Al-Munafiqun (63) — De Huichelaars · المنافقون
Medinische soera, 11 verzen, als 104e geopenbaard.
De eden van de huichelaars en rijkdom die niet mag afleiden.
Al-Munafiqun 63:1
إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُواْ نَشۡهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
Als de hypocrieten tot jou komen, zeggen zij: “Wij getuigen dat jij werkelijk de boodschapper van Allah bent.” Allah weet dat je inderdaad Zijn boodschapper bent en Allah getuigt dat de hypocrieten zeker leugenaars zijn.
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars
Al-Munafiqun 63:2
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ جُنَّةٗ فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
Zij hebben hun eden tot een scherm gemaakt. Zo hinderen zij (de mens) op de weg van Allah. Waarlijk, kwaad is het wat zij plachten te doen.
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing
Al-Munafiqun 63:3
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ
Dat is omdat zij geloofden, dan ongelovig waren, daarom zijn hun harten verzegeld, zodat zij niet begrijpen.
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand
Al-Munafiqun 63:4
۞وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ تُعۡجِبُكَ أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَقُولُواْ تَسۡمَعۡ لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ كَأَنَّهُمۡ خُشُبٞ مُّسَنَّدَةٞۖ يَحۡسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيۡحَةٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ هُمُ ٱلۡعَدُوُّ فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ
En als je naar hen kijkt, raak je onder de indruk over hun uiterlijk, en als zij spreken, luister je naar hun woorden. Zij zijn als stukken hout, ondersteunend. Zij denken dat iedere kreet tegen hen is (gauw slecht denkend over Allah, vervolgens Zijn Profeet en vervolgens de gelovigen). Zij zijn de vijanden, hoed jullie dus voor hen. Moge Allah hen vervloeken! Hoe kunnen zij de rechte weg van Allah dan ontkennen?
And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded
Al-Munafiqun 63:5
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ يَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوۡاْ رُءُوسَهُمۡ وَرَأَيۡتَهُمۡ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
En als er tegen hen gezegd wordt: “Kom, zodat de boodschapper van Allah om vergiffenis voor jullie zal vragen”, keren zij hun hoofd af (zoals ze daarvoor al hun harten hadden gekeerd), en jullie kunnen hen zien afkeren met trotse gezichten.
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant
Al-Munafiqun 63:6
سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَسۡتَغۡفَرۡتَ لَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ لَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
Het maakt hen niet uit of jij voor hen om vergiffenis vraagt of niet. Waarlijk, Allah leidt niet het volk dat verdorven is.
It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people
Al-Munafiqun 63:7
هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُواْ عَلَىٰ مَنۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّواْۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ
Zij zijn degenen die zeggen: “Geef niets aan degenen die met Allah Zijn boodschapper zijn tot zij hem verlaten." En aan Allah behoren de schatten van de hemelen en de aarde, maar de hypocrieten begrijpen niet.
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand
Al-Munafiqun 63:8
يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Zij zeggen: “Als wij naar Al-Medina terugkeren dan zullen zeker de eerbaren, de mindere verbannen. Maar de eer behoort aan Allah, Zijn boodschapper en de gelovigen, maar de hypocrieten weten het niet.
They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know
Al-Munafiqun 63:9
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُلۡهِكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَفۡعَلۡ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
O jullie die geloven! Laat jullie bezittingen of jullie kinderen jullie niet van de overdenking van Allah afleiden. En iedereen die dat doet, die zal dan de verliezer zijn.
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers
Al-Munafiqun 63:10
وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
En geef uit van datgene waarvan Wij jullie voorzien hebben, voordat de dood tot één van jullie komt en hij dan zegt: “Mijn Heer! Als U mij slechts uitstel zal geven voor een korte tijd dan zal ik de verplichte liefdadigheid van mijn rijkdom geven en onder de rechtvaardigen zijn."
And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous
Al-Munafiqun 63:11
وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
En Allah geeft niemand uitstel wanneer zijn aangewezen tijd (de dood) komt. En Allah is Alwetend van wat jullie doen.
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do
