Soera Al-Inshiqaq (84) — De Scheuring · الإنشقاق
Mekkaanse soera, 25 verzen, als 83e geopenbaard.
Het scheuren van de hemel en de moeizame reis van de mens naar zijn Heer.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:1
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡ
Als de hemel splijt,
When the sky has split [open]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:2
وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
En het (de hemel) naar zijn Heer luistert en Hem gehoorzaamt, en zijn plicht nakomt.
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:3
وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡ
En als de aarde uitgestrekt wordt.
And when the earth has been extended
Al-Inshiqaq 84:4
وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ
En alles uitgeworpen heeft wat zij in zich heeft, en ledig wordt.
And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:5
وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
En het (de aarde) naar haar Heer luistert en Hem gehoorzaamt, en haar plicht nakomt.
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:6
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدۡحٗا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ
O mens waarlijk, jullie keren naar jullie Heer terug – met jullie daden en handelingen (goed en slecht), een zekere terugkeer.
O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it
Al-Inshiqaq 84:7
فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ
Dan, zal er voor hem die de afrekening in zijn rechterhand krijgt.
Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand
Al-Inshiqaq 84:8
فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابٗا يَسِيرٗا
Hij zal zeker een gemakkelijke afrekening krijgen.
He will be judged with an easy account
Al-Inshiqaq 84:9
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورٗا
En zal blijmoedig tot zijn familie terugkeren!
And return to his people in happiness
Al-Inshiqaq 84:10
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ
Maar iedereen die zijn afrekening achter zijn rug krijgt.
But as for he who is given his record behind his back
Al-Inshiqaq 84:11
فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُواْ ثُبُورٗا
Hij zal zijn vernietiging over zich uitroepen.
He will cry out for destruction
Al-Inshiqaq 84:12
وَيَصۡلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
Hij zal braden in een laaiend vuur.
And [enter to] burn in a Blaze
Al-Inshiqaq 84:13
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا
Waarlijk, hij was blijmoedig bij zijn familie!
Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness
Al-Inshiqaq 84:14
إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ
Waarlijk, hij dacht dat hij nooit (tot Ons) zou terugkeren!
Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:15
بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرٗا
Ja, waarlijk zijn Heer is alwetend over hem.
But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing
Al-Inshiqaq 84:16
فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ
Dus Ik zweer bij de rode gloed van de zonsondergang.
So I swear by the twilight glow
Al-Inshiqaq 84:17
وَٱلَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
En bij de nacht en alles wat het in zijn duisternis verzamelt.
And [by] the night and what it envelops
Al-Inshiqaq 84:18
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ
En bij de maan, als die vol is.
And [by] the moon when it becomes full
Al-Inshiqaq 84:19
لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٖ
Jullie zullen je zeker van stadium tot stadium voortbewegen.
[That] you will surely experience state after state
Al-Inshiqaq 84:20
فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Wat scheelt hen toch, dat zij niet geloven?
So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe
Al-Inshiqaq 84:21
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩
En als de Koran voor hen gereciteerd wordt, dat zij niet neerknielen?
And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]
Al-Inshiqaq 84:22
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَ
Nee, (in tegendeel) degenen die niet geloven, verloochenen.
But those who have disbelieved deny
Al-Inshiqaq 84:23
وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
En Allah weet het het beste wat zij in zich hebben.
And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves
Al-Inshiqaq 84:24
فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Verkondig dus aan hen een pijnlijke bestraffing.
So give them tidings of a painful punishment
Al-Inshiqaq 84:25
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونِۭ
Behalve degenen die geloven en goede daden verrichten, voor hen is er een beloning welke nooit zal eindigen.
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted
