Soera Fatir (35) — De Schepper · فاطر
Mekkaanse soera, 45 verzen, als 43e geopenbaard.
De Schepper van de hemelen — Zijn gunsten en de rangen van Zijn dienaren.
Fatir 35:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُوْلِيٓ أَجۡنِحَةٖ مَّثۡنَىٰ وَثُلَٰثَ وَرُبَٰعَۚ يَزِيدُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِ مَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
Alle lofprijzingen en dank is aan Allah de Stichter van de hemelen en de aarde, Die de engelen tot boodschappers met vleugels – twee of drie of vier heeft gemaakt. Hij vermeerdert in de schepping wat Hij wil. Waarlijk, Allah is tot alles in staat.
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent
Fatir 35:2
مَّا يَفۡتَحِ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحۡمَةٖ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَاۖ وَمَا يُمۡسِكۡ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Wat Allah de mensen aan genade schenkt kan niemand tegenhouden, en wat Hij tegenhoudt, kan iemand schenken (daarom moeten wij onze harten stevig verbinden met Allah). En Hij is de Almachtige, de Alwijze.
Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise
Fatir 35:3
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَٰلِقٍ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ
O Mensheid! Gedenk de gunsten van Allah over jullie! Is er een andere schepper dan Allah Die jullie voorziet uit de hemel en de aarde? Geen heeft het recht om aanbeden te worden behalve Hij. Hoe kunnen jullie je dan (van Hem) afkeren?
O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded
Fatir 35:4
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكَۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ
En als zij jou (O Mohammed) verloochenen zo ook werden de boodschappers voor jou verloochend. En tot Allah keren alle zaken terug.
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters
Fatir 35:5
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ
O Mensheid! Waarlijk, de belofte van Allah is waarheid. Laat dus niet het huidige leven jullie bedriegen en laat niet de voornaamste bedrieger (Iblies en zijn helpers) jullie over Allah misleiden.
O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver
Fatir 35:6
إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا يَدۡعُواْ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُواْ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Voorzeker, Shaytaan is jullie vijand, behandel hem (dan ook) als een vijand (door gehoorzaam te zijn aan Allah). Hij nodigt zijn volgelingen slechts uit (tot ongeloof en zonden) zodat zij de bewoners van het laaiende vuur zullen worden.
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze
Fatir 35:7
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٌ
Voor degenen die ongelovig zijn zal er een strenge bestraffing zijn en degenen die goede daden verrichten, voor hen zal er vergiffenis zijn en een grote beloning.
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward
Fatir 35:8
أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنٗاۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسَرَٰتٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَصۡنَعُونَ
Is hij dan degenen waarvoor het kwaad van zijn daden schoonschijnend is gemaakt zodat hij het als goed beschouwd? Waarlijk, Allah laat dwalen wie Hij wil en leidt wie Hij wil. Laat jezelf (O Mohammed) dus niet vernietigen uit droefheid voor hen. Waarlijk, Allah is de Alwetende van wat zij doen!
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do
Fatir 35:9
وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَسُقۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ مَّيِّتٖ فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ
En het is Allah die de winden stuurt, zodat zij de wolken verzamelen en Wij hen naar het dode land sturen en daarmee de aarde doen herleven na haar dood. Zo ook (zal) de herrijzenis (zijn).
And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection
Fatir 35:10
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًاۚ إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ
Iedereen die eer wenst, aan Allah behoort alle eer. Tot Hem stijgen alle goede woorden op en de goede daden verheft hij, maar degenen die kwade plannen smeden, - voor hen zal er een zware bestraffing zijn. En de samenzweerders hiervan zullen verdwijnen.
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish
Fatir 35:11
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٖ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗاۚ وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِن مُّعَمَّرٖ وَلَا يُنقَصُ مِنۡ عُمُرِهِۦٓ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٍۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ
En Allah heeft jou (Adam) geschapen van stof, en vervolgens uit een druppel, vervolgens maakte hij jullie tot paren. Geen vrouw ontvangt of bevalt zonder Zijn kennis. En geen oude man volbrengt een lang leven, noch wordt zijn leven verkort, zonder dat het in het Boek staat. Zeker, dat is gemakkelijk voor Allah.
And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy
Fatir 35:12
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ سَآئِغٞ شَرَابُهُۥ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞۖ وَمِن كُلّٖ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
En de twee zeeën zijn niet hetzelfde, dit frisse zoete water en plezierig te drinken en dat zout en bitter. En van beiden eten jullie vers, zacht vlees (vis) en halen de sieraden (parels) die jullie dragen. En jullie zien de schepen daarover varen, zodat jullie Zijn gunst mogen zoeken en dat jullie dankbaar mogen zijn.
And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful
Fatir 35:13
يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِن قِطۡمِيرٍ
Hij laat de nacht overgaan in de dag en Hij laat de dag overgaan in de nacht. En Hij heeft de zon en de maan, ieder zijn koers gaande voor een vastgestelde termijn aan Zich onderworpen. Dat is Allah, jullie Heer; aan Hem is het koninkrijk. En degenen die jullie aanroepen naast Hem, bezitten nog geen vliesje van een dadelpit.
He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed
Fatir 35:14
إِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُواْ دُعَآءَكُمۡ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُواْ مَا ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لَكُمۡۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِيرٖ
Als jullie hen (zouden) aanroepen dan horen zij jullie roep niet en als zij jullie horen, dan kunnen zij voor jullie niet vervullen. En op de Dag der Opstanding, zullen zij jullie aanbidding van hen verwerpen. En niemand kan jou inlichten behalve Hij Die Alwetend is.
If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters]
Fatir 35:15
۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
O Mensheid! Jullie zijn het die Allah nodig (zwaar behoeftig) hebben, maar Allah is de Rijke, de meest prijzenswaardige.
O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy
Fatir 35:16
إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٖ
Als Hij het zou willen zou Hij jullie kunnen vernietigen en een nieuwe schepping voortbrengen.
If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation
Fatir 35:17
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٖ
En dat is niet moeilijk voor Allah.
And that is for Allah not difficult
Fatir 35:18
وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ وَإِن تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمۡلِهَا لَا يُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَيۡءٞ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰٓۗ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ وَمَن تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
En geen drager van lasten zal de last van een ander dragen, en als iemand zwaar beladen is en een ander roept om zijn last, zal daar niets van opgetild worden zelfs als hij een naaste verwant is. Jij (O Mohammed) kan slechts degenen waarschuwen die hun Heer in het verborgene vrezen en hun gebeden perfect verrichten. En degene die zichzelf reinigt, reinigt zichzelf alleen voor het nut van zichzelf. En Allah is de terugkeer.
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination
Fatir 35:19
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ
De blinden en de zienden zijn niet gelijk.
Not equal are the blind and the seeing
Fatir 35:20
وَلَا ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَلَا ٱلنُّورُ
Noch is de duisternis gelijk aan het licht.
Nor are the darknesses and the light
Fatir 35:21
وَلَا ٱلظِّلُّ وَلَا ٱلۡحَرُورُ
Noch zijn de schaduw en de hitte van de zon gelijk.
Nor are the shade and the heat
Fatir 35:22
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَحۡيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰتُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسۡمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسۡمِعٖ مَّن فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
Noch zijn de levenden en de doden gelijk. Waarlijk, Allah laat horen wie Hij wil maar je kunt degenen die in de graven zijn niet laten horen.
And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves
Fatir 35:23
إِنۡ أَنتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ
Jij bent slechts een waarschuwer.
You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner
Fatir 35:24
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗاۚ وَإِن مِّنۡ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٞ
Waarlijk! Wij hebben jou met de waarheid gestuurd, de drager van goed nieuws en een waarschuwer. En er is nooit een volk geweest waar geen waarschuwer voor is geweest.
Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner
Fatir 35:25
وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ وَبِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُنِيرِ
En als zij jou (O Mohammed) verloochenen, voorzeker, degenen voor hen verloochende ook. Hun boodschappers kwamen tot hen met duidelijke tekenen en met Boeken en met het Boek dat licht geeft.
And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture
Fatir 35:26
ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Toen greep Ik degenen die ongelovig was en hoe vreselijk was dan Mijn afkeuring?
Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach
Fatir 35:27
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦ ثَمَرَٰتٖ مُّخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَٰنُهَاۚ وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِيضٞ وَحُمۡرٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٞ
Zien jullie dan niet dat Allah water uit de lucht naar beneden stuurt en Wij maken daarmee vruchten van verschillende kleuren en onder de bergen zijn witte en rode stukken van gevarieerde kleur en (anderen) heel zwart.
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black
Fatir 35:28
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَۗ إِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡعُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ
En van de mensen en bewegende schepselen en vee, in verschillende soorten kleuren. Het zijn slechts de bezitters van kennis van zijn dienaren die Allah het meest vrezen. Waarlijk, Allah is Almachtig, meest Vergevend.
And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving
Fatir 35:29
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ يَرۡجُونَ تِجَٰرَةٗ لَّن تَبُورَ
Waarlijk, degenen die het Boek van Allah reciteren en gebeden perfect verrichten en uitgeven van waarvan Wij hen voorzien hebben, in het geheim en openlijk, hopend voor een (zekere) handelswinst die nooit zal verdwijnen.
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish
Fatir 35:30
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٞ
Dat Hij hen hun beloning volledig zal geven en hen (zelfs) meer zal geven (extra) door Zijn gunst. Waarlijk! Hij is meest-Vergevend, en het meest dankbaar.
That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative
Fatir 35:31
وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِيرُۢ بَصِيرٞ
En wat Wij aan jouw hebben geopenbaard van het Boek is de waarheid, bevestigend wat eerder geopenbaard is. Waarlijk! Allah is Alwetend en de Alziende over Zijn dienaren.
And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, Allah, of His servants, is Acquainted and Seeing
Fatir 35:32
ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٞ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقُۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Toen gaven Wij het Boek als erfenis voor die van Onze dienaren die Wij uitverkoren hebben. Vervolgens waren er onder hen die zichzelf kwaad hebben gedaan (door zonden) en onder hen zijn er die zich in het midden houden en onder hen zijn er die, door Allah Zijn toestemming, haasten naar het goede. Dat is zeker de grote gunst.
Then we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty
Fatir 35:33
جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنٖ يَدۡخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوۡنَ فِيهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٖ وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِيهَا حَرِيرٞ
Tuinen der eeuwigheid zullen zij naar binnengaan, daar zullen zij bekleed worden met armbanden van goud en paarlen en hun kleding zal daar uit zijde bestaan.
[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk
Fatir 35:34
وَقَالُواْ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَذۡهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٞ شَكُورٌ
En zij zullen zeggen: “Alle lofprijzingen en dankbetuigingen zijn voor Allah, Die van ons (alle) droefheid verwijderd heeft. Waarlijk, onze Heer is zeker meest Vergevend en het meest dankbaar.
And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative
Fatir 35:35
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلۡمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٞ
Wie door Zijn (Allah) gunsten ons in een verblijfplaats heeft ondergebracht van eeuwigheid, daarin zal uitputting ons niet raken noch vermoeidheid.”
He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]
Fatir 35:36
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقۡضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَيَمُوتُواْ وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٖ
Maar degenen die ongelovig zijn, voor hen zal de hel hun verblijfplaats zijn, noch heeft het een volledig dodelijk effect op hen zodat zij zullen sterven (en kunnen rusten van de pijn) noch zal de bestraffing voor hen verlicht worden. Zo vergelden Wij elke ondankbare persoon!
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one
Fatir 35:37
وَهُمۡ يَصۡطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخۡرِجۡنَا نَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحًا غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي كُنَّا نَعۡمَلُۚ أَوَلَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُۖ فَذُوقُواْ فَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ
Daarin zullen zij schreeuwen (van de pijn) “Onze Heer! Haal ons weg, wij zullen goede daden verrichten, niet die wij plachten te doen.” (Allah zal antwoorden): “Hebben Wij jullie geen leven gegeven wat lang genoeg was, zodat iedereen die een vermaning wenste te ontvangen deze kon ontvangen? En de waarschuwer (de Profeet Mohammed) is ook nog tot jullie gekomen. Proef dus de straf. Voor de onrechtplegers is er geen helper.”
And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper
Fatir 35:38
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَٰلِمُ غَيۡبِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Waarlijk, Allah is de Alwetende van het onwaarneembare van de hemelen en de aarde. Waarlijk! Hij is de Alwetende van wat in hun borsten is (daarom moet wij kennis opdoen, dit zorgt dat we onze harten reinigen, en dat is een plicht).
Indeed, Allah is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts
Fatir 35:39
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا مَقۡتٗاۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا
Hij is het Die jullie op aarde elkaar deed opvolgen, generatie na generatie, dus iedereen die ongelovig is, zijn ongeloof rust op hem. En het ongeloof van de ongelovigen voegt niets meer dan verlies toe.
It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss
Fatir 35:40
قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شِرۡكٞ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٖ مِّنۡهُۚ بَلۡ إِن يَعِدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ بَعۡضُهُم بَعۡضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Zeg (O Mohammed): “Vertel mij over de jullie deelgenoten die jullie naast Allah aanroepen, laat Mij zien wat zij geschapen hebben op de aarde? Of maken zij aanspraak op de hemelen? Of hebben Wij hen een Boek gegeven zodat zij naar een duidelijk bewijs daarvan kunnen handelen? Welnee, de onrechtplegers beloven elkaar niets anders dan bedrog (waanbeeld).”
Say, "Have you considered your 'partners' whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they partnership [with Him] in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they are [standing] on evidence therefrom? [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion
Fatir 35:41
۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُمۡسِكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَن تَزُولَاۚ وَلَئِن زَالَتَآ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَهُمَا مِنۡ أَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورٗا
Waarlijk! Allah houdt de hemelen en de aarde vast zij niet van hun plaats zullen gaan en als zij van hun plaatsen zouden gaan, dan is er niemand die hen kan vasthouden na Hem. Waarlijk, Hij is meest verdraagzame, de meest Vergevende.
Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving
Fatir 35:42
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِن جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ لَّيَكُونُنَّ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡ إِحۡدَى ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مَّا زَادَهُمۡ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
En zij legden bij Allah hun meest bindende eed af, dat als er een waarschuwer tot hen kwam, zij meer geleid zouden zijn dan welke natie, toch toen de waarschuwer tot hen kwam, voegde het niets aan hun toe behalve een afkeer.
And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion
Fatir 35:43
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَكۡرَ ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِيلٗاۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحۡوِيلًا
Dit door hun arrogantie op aarde en hun samenspannen met het kwaad. Maar de kwade samenzwering keert zich slechts tegen degene die haar heeft gesmeed (want wie een put graaft voor een ander, valt er zelf in). Kunnen zij dan iets (anders) verwachten dan het voorbeeld (de bestraffing) van de vroegere generaties. Jullie zullen dus geen verandering vinden in het voorbeeld van Allah en geen afwijking zullen jullie in Allah Zijn voorbeeld vinden.
[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way of Allah any change, and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration
Fatir 35:44
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمٗا قَدِيرٗا
Hebben zij niet over het land gereisd en het einde gezien van degenen die voor hen waren, en zij waren superieur in macht dan zij. Aan Allah kan niks ontsnappen in de hemelen of op aarde. Waarlijk, Hij is Alwetend, Almachtig.
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent
Fatir 35:45
وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا
En als Allah de mens zou bestraffen voor wat hij verdient had dan zou er geen levend wezen op de oppervlakte van de aarde zijn, maar Hij geeft hen uitstel voor een aangewezen tijd en wanneer die tijd komt, dan is Allah waarlijk Alziend over zijn dienaren.
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing
