Soera Al-Jumu'ah (62) — De Vrijdag · الجمعة
Medinische soera, 11 verzen, als 110e geopenbaard.
Het vrijdaggebed en de last van kennis zonder toepassing.
Al-Jumu'ah 62:1
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ ٱلۡقُدُّوسِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
Wat zich in de hemelen en wat zich op aarde bevindt verheerlijkt Allah, - de Koning (van alles), de Heilige, de Almachtige, de Alwijze.
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise
Al-Jumu'ah 62:2
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
Het is Hij Die uit de ongeletterde (Arabieren) een boodschapper stuurde vanuit hun eigen middens (Mohammed). Die zijn verzen voor hen reciterend, hen daarmee reinigt en hen het boek en de wijsheid (de Soennah) daarin onderwijzend. Want waarlijk, daarvoor verkeerden ze in duidelijke dwaling.
It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error
Al-Jumu'ah 62:3
وَءَاخَرِينَ مِنۡهُمۡ لَمَّا يَلۡحَقُواْ بِهِمۡۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
En Hij heeft hem ook voor andere gestuurd die zich nog niet met hem verenigd hebben. En Hij (Allah) is de Almachtige, de Alwijze.
And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise
Al-Jumu'ah 62:4
ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Dat is de gunst van Allah, die Hij geeft het aan wie Hij wil. En Allah is de Bezitter van de gunsten.
That is the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty
Al-Jumu'ah 62:5
مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ حُمِّلُواْ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَحۡمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ ٱلۡحِمَارِ يَحۡمِلُ أَسۡفَارَۢاۚ بِئۡسَ مَثَلُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
De vergelijking van degenen die Thora is toevertrouwd maar hierin herhaaldelijk falen in deze, is als de vergelijking van een ezel die grote ladingen boeken draagt. Hoe slecht is het voorbeeld van de mensen die de tekenen van Allah ontkennen. En Allah leidt niet het volk dat onrechtvaardig is
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people
Al-Jumu'ah 62:6
قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓاْ إِن زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
Zeg (o Mohammed): “O jullie joden! Als jullie je voordoen als vrienden van Allah, om de rest van de mensheid uit te sluiten, verlang dan naar de dood als jullie waarachtig zijn.”
Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful
Al-Jumu'ah 62:7
وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوۡنَهُۥٓ أَبَدَۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Maar jullie zullen er nooit naar verlangen, door wat jullie handen vooruit hebben gestuurd! En Allah kent de onrechtvaardigen.
But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers
Al-Jumu'ah 62:8
قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Zeg: “Waarlijk, de dood waarvoor jullie vluchten zal jullie zeker ontmoeten, dan worden jullie terug naar (Allah) gebracht, de Alwetende van het onwaarneembare en het waarneembare, en Hij zal jullie vertellen wat jullie plachten te doen.
Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do
Al-Jumu'ah 62:9
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
O jullie die geloven! Wanneer de oproep voor het gebed op de djoemah (vrijdag) wordt afgeroepen, haast jullie dan voor de gedenking van Allah en laat je (wereldse) zaken, dat is beter voor jullie als jullie het maar wisten!
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew
Al-Jumu'ah 62:10
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
Als het djoemahgebed( vrijdagsgebed) voltooid is, mogen jullie je over het land verspreiden en de gunsten van Allah zoeken en gedenk Allah veel, zodat jullie zullen slagen.
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed
Al-Jumu'ah 62:11
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ تِجَٰرَةً أَوۡ لَهۡوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمٗاۚ قُلۡ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهۡوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰزِقِينَ
En als zij handel of amusement zien gaan zij daar naar toe en laten jou achter. Zeg: “Dat wat Allah heeft is beter dan het vermaak of de handel! En Allah is de beste van de voorzieners.”
But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers
