Coran 8:65 — sourate Al-Anfal, verset 65

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡقِتَالِۚ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمۡ عِشۡرُونَ صَٰبِرُونَ يَغۡلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّاْئَةٞ يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ أَلۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ

Prophète ! Incite sans relâche les croyants au combat. S’il se trouve parmi vous une vingtaine d’hommes endurants, ils en vaincront deux cents, et s’il s’en trouve une centaine, ils triompheront de mille mécréants. Ce sont en effet des gens privés de tout entendement.

O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand

• Noor International Center (fr): Ô Prophète ! Incite les croyants à combattre. Une vingtaine (d’hommes) persévérants parmi vous pourront en vaincre deux cents. Une centaine parmi vous pourra en vaincre mille parmi les mécréants. Car ce sont des gens qui ne comprennent point.
• Hilali & Khan: O Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundreds, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are people who do not understand.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O Prophet, urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast among you, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are a hundred of you, they will overcome a thousand of the disbelievers, for they are a people who do not understand.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 8:65

Ô Prophète, exhorte les croyants à combattre en renforçant leur détermination et en les motivant. Ô croyants, vingt combattants endurants au combat viendront à bout de deux cent mécréants. Cent de ces mêmes combattants viendront à bout de mille mécréants. Les mécréants ne comprennent pas que la loi établie par Allah est qu’Il secourt Ses alliés et vainc Ses ennemis. Ils ne comprennent pas non plus quelle est la finalité du combat puisqu’ils combattent pour avoir le dessus dans ce bas monde.
