Coran 8:66 — sourate Al-Anfal, verset 66

ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّهُ عَنكُمۡ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ ضَعۡفٗاۚ فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّاْئَةٞ صَابِرَةٞ يَغۡلِبُواْ مِاْئَتَيۡنِۚ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أَلۡفٞ يَغۡلِبُوٓاْ أَلۡفَيۡنِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

Connaissant votre faiblesse, Allah allège à présent ce commandement. Une centaine de combattants endurants parmi vous viendront à bout de deux cents de vos ennemis et un millier auront raison de deux mille impies par la volonté d’Allah qui est toujours avec ceux qui se montrent endurants.

Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are from you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the steadfast

• Noor International Center (fr): Allah, maintenant, a allégé votre fardeau car Il sait votre faiblesse. Alors, une centaine (d’hommes) persévérants parmi vous pourront en vaincre deux cents ; et mille parmi vous en vaincront deux mille, par la permission d’Allah. Et Allah est avec ceux qui savent prendre patience.
• Hilali & Khan: Now Allâh has lightened your (task), for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are of you a hundred steadfast persons, they shall overcome two hundreds, and if there are a thousand of you, they shall overcome two thousand with the Leave of Allâh. And Allâh is with As-Sâbirûn (the patient).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Now Allah has lightened your burden, for He knew that there is weakness in you. So if there are a hundred steadfast men among you, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are a thousand, they will overcome two thousand, by Allah’s permission. And Allah is with those who are steadfast.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 8:66

Ô croyants, Allah a décidé de rendre votre charge moins pesante car Il connaît votre faiblesse. L’alléger est une indulgence de Sa part envers vous. Il vous impose désormais d’être ferme face à deux combattants mécréants au lieu de dix. Ainsi, avec la permission d’Allah, cent combattants endurants parmi vous viendront à bout de deux cent mécréants et mille de ces mêmes combattants viendront à bout de deux mille mécréants. Le soutien et le secours d’Allah sont réservés aux endurant.
