Coran 19:14 — sourate Maryam, verset 14

وَبَرَّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ وَلَمۡ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيّٗا

il fut un fils pieux envers ses père et mère, obéissant envers son Seigneur, humble à l’égard des hommes.

And dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 19:14

Il était bon, doux et bienfaisant envers ses parents. Il ne dédaignait pas obéir à son Seigneur ni à ses parents et ne désobéissait ni à son Seigneur ni à ses parents.
