Koran 7:116 — soera Al-A'raf, vers 116

قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ

Hij (Moesa) zei: “Gooien jullie (eerst).” Dus gooiden zij, zij betoverden de ogen van de mensen en sloegen hen met angst en zij lieten een grote toverij zien.

He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic
