Koran 47:28 — soera Muhammad, vers 28

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Dit is omdat zij dat wat Allah kwaad maakt volgen, en haten wat Hem genoegen doet. Dus maakt Hij hun daden vruchteloos.

That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds

• Hilali & Khan: That is because they followed that which angered Allâh and hated that which pleased Him. So He made their deeds fruitless.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): That is because they follow what incurs Allah’s wrath and they hate what pleases Him, so He will render their deeds worthless.
