Koran 28:61 — soera Al-Qasas, vers 61

أَفَمَن وَعَدۡنَٰهُ وَعۡدًا حَسَنٗا فَهُوَ لَٰقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُ مَتَٰعَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ

Is hij aan wie Wij een uitmuntende belofte hebben gegeven, waarvan hij zal ontdekken dat het waar is, hetzelfde als degenen die Wij de luxe van het leven van (deze) wereld laten genieten, hij zal dan op de Dag der Opstanding verkeren onder degenen die in de Hel verzameld zullen worden.

Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will obtain like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Is one whom We promised a good promise – which he is going to obtain – like one whom We gave the pleasure of the life of this world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be among those summoned [to Hellfire]?
