Koran 21:26 — soera Al-Anbya, vers 26

وَقَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَلَدٗاۗ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۚ بَلۡ عِبَادٞ مُّكۡرَمُونَ

En zei zeiden: “De meest Barmhartige heeft een zoon gekregen.” Verheerlijkt zij Hij! Zij zijn niets anders dan geëerde dienaren.

And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They say, “The Most Compassionate has begotten offspring!” Glory be to Him! In fact, those [angels] are His honored slaves.
