Koran 16:64 — soera An-Nahl, vers 64

وَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

En Wij hebben slechts aan jou het Boek neergezonden zodat je hen die zaken kan uitleggen waarover zij van mening verschillen, en als een leiding en een genade voor een volk dat gelooft.

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe

• Hilali & Khan: And We have not sent down the Book (the Qur’an) to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم), except that you may explain clearly unto them those things in which they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a folk who believe.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We have only sent down to you the Book so that you may make clear to them what they differed about and as a guidance and mercy for people who believe.
