Coran 39:26 — sourate Az-Zumar, verset 26

فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخِزۡيَ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Allah les a couverts d’opprobre ici-bas, mais le châtiment de l’au-delà sera bien plus terrible. S’ils pouvaient en être conscients !

So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew

• Noor International Center (fr): Allah leur fit goûter alors l’humiliation en ce bas monde, mais le supplice de l’autre monde est certes plus grand encore, pour peu qu’ils le sachent.
• Hilali & Khan: So Allâh made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Therefore Allah gave them a taste of disgrace in the life of this world, but the punishment of the Hereafter will be far greater, if only they knew.
