Coran 33:14 — sourate Al-Ahzab, verset 14

وَلَوۡ دُخِلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَقۡطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُواْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ لَأٓتَوۡهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُواْ بِهَآ إِلَّا يَسِيرٗا

Si l’ennemi avait assailli la cité de tous côtés et les avait contraints à apostasier, ils se seraient exécutés sans tarder.

And if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly

• Noor International Center (fr): Si (l’ennemi) avait pénétré dans (la ville) par tous les côtés et qu’il les ait exhortés à apostasier, ils auraient obtempéré sans trop d’hésitation.
• Hilali & Khan: And if the enemy had entered from all sides (of the city), and they had been exhorted to Al-Fitnah (i.e. to renegade from Islâm to polytheism), they would surely have committed it and would have hesitated thereupon but little.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If the enemy were to enter the town upon them from all sides, and they were asked to abandon faith, they would have done it and would not have shown hesitation in it except a little.

Si l’ennemi s’était introduit à Médine de tous côtés et leur avait demandé de retourner à la mécréance et à associer de nouveau des divinités à Allah, ils auraient accédé à sa demande et seuls quelques uns parmi eux s’y seraient refusés.
