Coran 19:42 — sourate Maryam, verset 42

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنكَ شَيۡـٔٗا

Il dit un jour à son père : « Père ! Pourquoi adores-tu des idoles incapables d’entendre et de voir, et qui ne te sont d’aucune utilité ?

[Mention] when he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 19:42

Il dit à son père `Âzar: Ô mon père, pourquoi adores-tu à la place d’Allah des idoles qui ne t’entendent pas lorsque tu les invoques ni ne te voient lorsque tu les adores? Pourquoi adorer ces idoles qui n’éloignent de toi aucun mal, ni ne te sont utiles?
