Koran 7:5 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 5

فَمَا كَانَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ إِذۡ جَآءَهُم بَأۡسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

So war ihr Ausruf, als Unsere Gewalt über sie kam, nur, daß sie sagten: Wir haben gewiß Unrecht getan.

And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): So war ihr Ausruf, als Unsere (strafende) Härte über sie kam, nur, dass sie sagten: „Wir waren fürwahr Ungerechte.“
• Hilali & Khan: No cry did they utter when Our Torment came upon them but this: "Verily, we were Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)".
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Their only cry, when Our punishment came upon them, was, “We were indeed wrongdoers.”
