Koran 38:6 — Sure Sad, Vers 6

وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ

Und so ging die führende Schar unter ihnen fort: Geht hin und haltet an euren Göttern beharrlich fest. Das ist fürwahr etwas, was (zu eurem Nachteil) gewollt wird.

And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended

• Hilali & Khan: And the leaders among them went about (saying): "Go on, and remain constant to your âlihah (gods)! Verily, this is a thing designed (against you)!
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): The leaders among them departed, saying, “Carry on as you are, and stay faithful to your gods. Indeed, there is a motive behind it.
