Koran 2:154 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 154

وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَن يُقۡتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمۡوَٰتُۢۚ بَلۡ أَحۡيَآءٞ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشۡعُرُونَ

Und sagt nicht von denen, die auf Allahs Weg getötet werden, sie seien tot! Nein! Vielmehr sind sie lebendig; aber ihr nehmt es nicht wahr.

And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und sagt nicht über diejenigen, die auf dem Weg Allahs getötet werden, sie seien tot! Vielmehr sind sie lebendig; jedoch nehmt ihr es nicht wahr.
• Hilali & Khan: And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, "They are dead." Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And do not say that those martyred in Allah’s way are dead. Rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive it.
