Koran 2:10 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 10

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡذِبُونَ

In ihren Herzen ist Krankheit, und da hat Allah ihnen die Krankheit noch gemehrt. Für sie wird es schmerzhafte Strafe dafür geben, daß sie zu lügen pflegten.

In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie

• Hilali & Khan: In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allâh has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): In their hearts is a sickness, and Allah has increased their sickness, and they will have a painful punishment for their persistent lying.
