Koran 16:56 — Sure An-Nahl, Vers 56

وَيَجۡعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ نَصِيبٗا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡۗ تَٱللَّهِ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُونَ

Und sie bestimmen für das, was sie nicht kennen, einen Anteil von dem, womit Wir sie versorgt haben. Bei Allah, ihr werdet ganz gewiß danach befragt werden, was ihr zu ersinnen pflegtet.

And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent

• Hilali & Khan: And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allâh, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They assign a portion of what We have provided for them to those [idols] who know nothing. By Allah, you will surely be called to account for what you used to fabricate.
