Surah An-Naba (78) — The Tidings · النبإ
Meccan surah, 40 ayat.
The great news of resurrection over which they dispute.
An-Naba 78:1
عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
About what are they asking one another
O čemu oni jedni druge pitaju?
An-Naba 78:2
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
About the great news
O vijesti velikoj,
An-Naba 78:3
ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
That over which they are in disagreement
o kojoj oni različita mišljenja imaju.
An-Naba 78:4
كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
No! They are going to know
To nije dobro, oni će saznati sigurno!
An-Naba 78:5
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
Then, no! They are going to know
I još jednom, to nije dobro, oni će saznati sigurno!
An-Naba 78:6
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
Have We not made the earth a resting place
Zar Zemlju posteljom nismo učinili,
An-Naba 78:7
وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
And the mountains as stakes
i planine stupovima,
An-Naba 78:8
وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
And We created you in pairs
i vas kao parove stvorili,
An-Naba 78:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
And made your sleep [a means for] rest
i san vaš počinkom učinili,
An-Naba 78:10
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
And made the night as clothing
i noć pokrivačem dali,
An-Naba 78:11
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
And made the day for livelihood
i dan za privređivanje odredili,
An-Naba 78:12
وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]
i iznad vas sedam silnih sazdali,
An-Naba 78:13
وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
And made [therein] a burning lamp
i svjetiljku plamteću postavili?
An-Naba 78:14
وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water
Mi iz oblaka vodu obilno spuštamo
An-Naba 78:15
لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation
i činimo da uz njenu pomoć raste žito i bilje,
An-Naba 78:16
وَجَنَّـٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
And gardens of entwined growth
i bašče guste.
An-Naba 78:17
إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time
Dan sudnji je, zaista, već određen,
An-Naba 78:18
يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes
Dan kada će se u Rog puhnuti, pa ćete vi, sve skupina po skupina, dolaziti,
An-Naba 78:19
وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
And the heaven is opened and will become gateways
i nebo će se otvoriti i mnogo kapija imati,
An-Naba 78:20
وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage
i planine će se zdrobiti i priviđenje će biti.
An-Naba 78:21
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait
Džehennem će zasjeda postati,
An-Naba 78:22
لِّلطَّـٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
For the transgressors, a place of return
nasilnicima mjesto povratka –
An-Naba 78:23
لَّـٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
In which they will remain for ages [unending]
u kome će zauvijek ostati:
An-Naba 78:24
لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink
u njemu svježine neće osjetiti, ni pića okusiti,
An-Naba 78:25
إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
Except scalding water and [foul] purulence
osim vrele vode i kapljevine,
An-Naba 78:26
جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
An appropriate recompense
kazne prikladne.
An-Naba 78:27
إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
Indeed, they were not expecting an account
Oni nisu očekivali da će račun polagati
An-Naba 78:28
وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial
i dokaze Naše su pretjerano poricali,
An-Naba 78:29
وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
But all things We have enumerated in writing
a Mi smo sve pobrojali i zapisali –
An-Naba 78:30
فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment
pa trpite, mučenje ćemo vam sve gorim učiniti.
An-Naba 78:31
إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
Indeed, for the righteous is attainment
A onima koji su se Allaha bojali želje će se ostvariti:
An-Naba 78:32
حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا
Gardens and grapevines
bašče i vinogradi,
An-Naba 78:33
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا
And full-breasted [companions] of equal age
i djevojke mlade, godīnā istih,
An-Naba 78:34
وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا
And a full cup
i pehari puni.
An-Naba 78:35
لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّـٰبٗا
No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood
Tamo prazne besjede i neistinu neće slušati,
An-Naba 78:36
جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا
[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account
Gospodar tvoj će ih darom obilnim nagraditi,
An-Naba 78:37
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا
[From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech
Gospodar nebesa i Zemlje i onoga što je između njih, Milostivi, kome neće smjeti niko prvi riječ prozboriti
An-Naba 78:38
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا
The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct
na Dan kada Džibril i meleki budu u redove poredani, kada će samo onaj kome Milostivi dozvoli govoriti, a istinu će reći.
An-Naba 78:39
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return
To je neizbježan Dan, pa ko hoće, Gospodaru svome će, kao utočištu, poći.
An-Naba 78:40
إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust
Mi vas na skoru patnju upozoravamo, na Dan u kome će čovjek djela ruku svojih vidjeti, a nevjernik uzviknuti: "Da sam, bogdo, zemlja ostao!"
