Surah Ar-Rahman (55) — The Beneficent · الرحمن
Medinan surah, 78 ayat.
The favors of the Most Merciful — which of them can be denied?
Ar-Rahman 55:1
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
The Most Merciful
Milostivi
Ar-Rahman 55:2
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Taught the Qur'an
poučava Kur'anu,
Ar-Rahman 55:3
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
Created man
stvara čovjeka,
Ar-Rahman 55:4
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ
[And] taught him eloquence
uči ga govoru.
Ar-Rahman 55:5
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation
Sunce i Mjesec utvrđenim putanjama plove,
Ar-Rahman 55:6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ
And the stars and trees prostrate
i trava i drveće se pokoravaju,
Ar-Rahman 55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
a nebo je digao. I postavio je terazije
Ar-Rahman 55:8
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ
That you not transgress within the balance
da ne prelazite granice u mjerenju –
Ar-Rahman 55:9
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance
i pravo mjerite i na teraziji ne zakidajte!
Ar-Rahman 55:10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures
A Zemlju je za stvorenja razastro,
Ar-Rahman 55:11
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
na njoj ima voća i palmi sa plodom u čaškama
Ar-Rahman 55:12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ
And grain having husks and scented plants
i žita sa lišćem i miomirisna cvijeća –
Ar-Rahman 55:13
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:14
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery
On je čovjeka od sasušene ilovače, kao što je grnčarija, stvorio
Ar-Rahman 55:15
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire
a džina od plamene vatre –
Ar-Rahman 55:16
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:17
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets
Gospodara dva istoka i dva zapada –
Ar-Rahman 55:18
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:19
مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]
Pustio je dva mora da se dodiruju,
Ar-Rahman 55:20
بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses
između njih je pregrada i ona se ne miješaju –
Ar-Rahman 55:21
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:22
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
From both of them emerge pearl and coral
Iz njih se vadi biser i merdžan –
Ar-Rahman 55:23
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:24
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains
Njegove su i lađe koje se kao brda visoko po moru uzdižu –
Ar-Rahman 55:25
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:26
كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ
Everyone upon the earth will perish
Sve što je na Zemlji prolazno je,
Ar-Rahman 55:27
وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
ostaje samo Gospodar tvoj, Veličanstveni i Plemeniti –
Ar-Rahman 55:28
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:29
يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter
Njemu se mole oni koji su na nebesima i na Zemlji; svakog časa On se zanima nečim –
Ar-Rahman 55:30
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:31
سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ
We will attend to you, O prominent beings
Polagaćete Mi račun, o ljudi i džini –
Ar-Rahman 55:32
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:33
يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]
O družine džina i ljudi, ako možete da preko granica nebesa i Zemlje prodrete, prodrite, moći ćete prodrijeti jedino uz veliku moć! –
Ar-Rahman 55:34
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:35
يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves
Na vas će se ognjen plamen i rastopljeni mjed prolivati, i vi se nećete moći odbraniti –
Ar-Rahman 55:36
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:37
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
A kad se nebo razdvoji i kao ucvrkan zejtin rumeno postane –
Ar-Rahman 55:38
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:39
فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn
tog Dana ljudi i džini za grijehe svoje neće biti pitani –
Ar-Rahman 55:40
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:41
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet
a grješnici će se po biljezima svojim poznati, pa će za kike i noge ščepani biti –
Ar-Rahman 55:42
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:43
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
This is Hell, which the criminals deny
"Evo, to je Džehennem koji su grješnici poricali!"
Ar-Rahman 55:44
يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]
I između vatre i ključale vode oni će kružiti –
Ar-Rahman 55:45
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:46
وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens
A za onoga koji se stajanja pred Gospodarom svojim bojao, biće dva perivoja –
Ar-Rahman 55:47
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:48
ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ
Having [spreading] branches
puna stabala granatih –
Ar-Rahman 55:49
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:50
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ
In both of them are two springs, flowing
u kojima će biti dva izvora koja će teći –
Ar-Rahman 55:51
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:52
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds
u njima će od svakog voća po dvije vrste biti –
Ar-Rahman 55:53
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:54
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low
Odmaraće se na posteljama čije će postave od kadife biti, a plodovi u oba perivoja nadohvat ruke će stajati –
Ar-Rahman 55:55
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:56
فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
U njima će biti one koje preda se gledaju, one koje, prije njih, ni čovjek ni džin nije dodirnuo –
Ar-Rahman 55:57
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:58
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
As if they were rubies and coral
biće kao rubin i biser –
Ar-Rahman 55:59
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:60
هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ
Is the reward for good [anything] but good
Zar nagrada za dobro učinjeno djelo može biti nešto drugo do dobro?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:61
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:62
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens
Osim ta dva, biće još dva neznatnija perivoja –
Ar-Rahman 55:63
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:64
مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ
Dark green [in color]
modrozelena –
Ar-Rahman 55:65
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:66
فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
In both of them are two springs, spouting
sa izvorima koji prskaju, u svakom –
Ar-Rahman 55:67
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:68
فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates
u njima će biti voća, i palmi, i šipaka –
Ar-Rahman 55:69
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:70
فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ
In them are good and beautiful women
u njima će biti ljepotica naravi divnih –
Ar-Rahman 55:71
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:72
حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ
Fair ones reserved in pavilions
hurija u šatorima skrivenih –
Ar-Rahman 55:73
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?! –
Ar-Rahman 55:74
لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ
Untouched before them by man or jinni
koje prije njih ni čovjek ni džin nije dodirnuo –
Ar-Rahman 55:75
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:76
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets
Oni će biti naslonjeni na uzglavlja zelena, prekrivena ćilimima čarobnim i prekrasnim –
Ar-Rahman 55:77
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
pa, koju blagodat Gospodara svoga poričete?!
Ar-Rahman 55:78
تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
Neka je uzvišeno ime Gospodara tvoga, Veličanstvenog i Plemenitog!
