Surah Ar-Rum (30) — The Romans · الروم

Meccan surah, 60 ayat.

The Romans' defeat and promised victory — Allah's promise never fails.

Ar-Rum 30:1

الٓمٓ

Alif, Lam, Meem

Elif Lām Mīm.

Ar-Rum 30:2

غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ

The Byzantines have been defeated

Bizantinci su pobijeđeni

Ar-Rum 30:3

فِيٓ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَيَغۡلِبُونَ

In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome

u susjednoj zemlji, ali oni će, poslije poraza svoga, sigurno pobijediti

Ar-Rum 30:4

فِي بِضۡعِ سِنِينَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَيَوۡمَئِذٖ يَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice

za nekoliko godina – i prije, i poslije, Allahova je odluka – i tada će se vjernici radovati

Ar-Rum 30:5

بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَآءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

Allahovoj pomoći – On pomaže kome hoće, On je Silni i Samilosni –

Ar-Rum 30:6

وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِۖ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know

obećanje je Allahovo, a Allah će obećanje Svoje ispuniti, ali većina ljudi ne zna;

Ar-Rum 30:7

يَعۡلَمُونَ ظَٰهِرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ

They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware

oni znaju samo spoljašnju stranu života na ovome svijetu, a prema onome svijetu su ravnodušni.

Ar-Rum 30:8

أَوَلَمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُواْ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآيِٕ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكَٰفِرُونَ

Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers

A zašto ne razmisle sami o sebi? Allah je stvorio nebesa i Zemlju i ono što je između njih – sa ciljem i do roka određenog. A mnogi ljudi ne vjeruju da će pred Gospodara svoga doista izaći.

Ar-Rum 30:9

أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَأَثَارُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ

Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves

Zašto ne putuju po svijetu pa da vide kako su završili oni prije njih? Oni su bili od njih jači, i zemlju su orali i obrađivali je više nego što je obrađuju ovi, i poslanici su im donosili jasne dokaze; Allah im nije učinio nepravdu, sami su sebi nepravdu nanijeli.

Ar-Rum 30:10

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔواْ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُواْ بِهَا يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them

Oni koji su zlo činili završiće najužasnijom patnjom, zato što su Allahove riječi poricali i što su ih ruglu izvrgavali.

Ar-Rum 30:11

ٱللَّهُ يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

Allah begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned

Allah iz ničega stvara, On će to ponovo učiniti i na kraju Njemu ćete se vratiti.

Ar-Rum 30:12

وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُبۡلِسُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair

Na dan kad nastupi Čas – mnogobošci će svaku nadu izgubiti:

Ar-Rum 30:13

وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمۡ شُفَعَـٰٓؤُاْ وَكَانُواْ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ كَٰفِرِينَ

And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners

božanstva njihova neće im biti zagovornici, a zbog božanstava svojih bili su nevjernici.

Ar-Rum 30:14

وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ

And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will become separated

Na dan kad nastupi Čas oživljenja – ljudi će se razdvojiti:

Ar-Rum 30:15

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَهُمۡ فِي رَوۡضَةٖ يُحۡبَرُونَ

And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted

oni koji su vjerovali i dobra djela činili – u džennetskom perivoju će se radovati,

Ar-Rum 30:16

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآيِٕ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ

But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]

a oni koji nisu vjerovali i koji su ajete Naše i susret na Sudnjem danu poricali – u trajnoj će muci biti.

Ar-Rum 30:17

فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصۡبِحُونَ

So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning

Pa, hvaljen neka je Allah kad god omrknete i kad god osvanete –

Ar-Rum 30:18

وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَعَشِيّٗا وَحِينَ تُظۡهِرُونَ

And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon

Njemu neka je pohvala i na nebesima i na Zemlji – i predvečer i u podne! –

Ar-Rum 30:19

يُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَيِّتِ وَيُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَيِّ وَيُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ

He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out

On iz neživog stvara živo i živo pretvara u neživo. On oživljava zemlju nakon mrtvila njezina – isto tako ćete i vi biti oživljeni.

Ar-Rum 30:20

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنۡ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٖ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَنتُم بَشَرٞ تَنتَشِرُونَ

And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]

Jedan od dokaza Njegovih je to što vas od zemlje stvara, i odjednom vas, ljudi, svuda ima razasutih;

Ar-Rum 30:21

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا لِّتَسۡكُنُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَكُم مَّوَدَّةٗ وَرَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought

i jedan od dokaza Njegovih je to što za vas, od vrste vaše, stvara žene da se uz njih smirite, i što između vas uspostavlja ljubav i samilost; to su, zaista, pouke za ljude koji razmišljaju;

Ar-Rum 30:22

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَٰنِكُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡعَٰلِمِينَ

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge

i jedan od dokaza Njegovih je stvaranje nebesa i Zemlje, i raznovrsnost jezika vaših i boja vaših; to su, zaista, pouke za one koji znaju;

Ar-Rum 30:23

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبۡتِغَآؤُكُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَسۡمَعُونَ

And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen

i jedan od dokaza Njegovih je san vaš noću i po danu, i nastojanje vaše da steknete nešto iz obilja Njegova; to su, zaista, pouke za ljude koji čuju;

Ar-Rum 30:24

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَيُحۡيِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason

i jedan od dokaza Njegovih je to što vam pokazuje munju, da se pobojite i ponadate, i to što spušta s neba kišu i oživljava njome zemlju poslije mrtvila njezina; to su, zaista, pouke za ljude koji razumiju.

Ar-Rum 30:25

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ دَعۡوَةٗ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِذَآ أَنتُمۡ تَخۡرُجُونَ

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth

I jedan od dokaza Njegovih je i to što nebo i Zemlja postoje voljom Njegovom. Zatim to što ćete, čim vas On samo jednom iz zemlje pozove, brzo ustati.

Ar-Rum 30:26

وَلَهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥ قَٰنِتُونَ

And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient

Njemu pripada sve što je na nebesima i na Zemlji, sve je Njemu poslušno.

Ar-Rum 30:27

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَبۡدَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهۡوَنُ عَلَيۡهِۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

On je Taj koji iz ničega stvara i On će to ponovo učiniti, to je Njemu lahko; On je uzvišen i na nebesima i na Zemlji; On je silan i mudar.

Ar-Rum 30:28

ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِي مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡ فَأَنتُمۡ فِيهِ سَوَآءٞ تَخَافُونَهُمۡ كَخِيفَتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ

He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason

On vam kao primjer navodi vas same: da li su oni koji su u posjedu vašem izjednačeni s vama u onome što vam Mi dajemo, pa ste u tome isti, i da li ih se bojite kao što se vi jedni drugih bojite? – Eto, tako Mi, podrobno, izlažemo dokaze Naše ljudima koji razmišljaju.

Ar-Rum 30:29

بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۖ فَمَن يَهۡدِي مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ

But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers

Ali, nevjernici lahkomisleno slijede strasti svoje – a ko će na Pravi put uputiti onoga koga je Allah u zabludi ostavio? – njima neće moći niko u pomoć priteći.

Ar-Rum 30:30

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know

Ti upravi lice svoje vjeri, kao pravi vjernik, vjeri, djelu Allahovu, prema kojoj je On ljude načinio – ne treba se mijenjati Allahova vjera, jer to je prava vjera, ali većina ljudi to ne zna –

Ar-Rum 30:31

۞مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allah

obraćajući Mu se predano! Bojte se Njega i obavljajte molitvu, i ne budite od onih koji Mu druge ravnim smatraju,

Ar-Rum 30:32

مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُواْ دِينَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ شِيَعٗاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has

od onih koji su vjeru svoju razbili i u stranke se podijelili; svaka stranka zadovoljna onim što ispovijeda.

Ar-Rum 30:33

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرّٞ دَعَوۡاْ رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ يُشۡرِكُونَ

And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord

A kad ljude nevolja snađe, oni se Gospodaru svome pokajnički obraćaju, a poslije, kad im On dâ da okuse milost Njegovu, odjednom neki od njih Gospodaru svome druge ravnim smatraju

Ar-Rum 30:34

لِيَكۡفُرُواْ بِمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُواْ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

So that they will deny what We have granted them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know

da bi bili nezahvalni na onome što im Mi dajemo. "Pa uživajte, a saznaćete!"

Ar-Rum 30:35

أَمۡ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يُشۡرِكُونَ

Or have We sent down to them an authority, and it speaks of what they were associating with Him

Zar smo im Mi poslali kakav dokaz koji govori u prilog onih koje Njemu ravnim smatraju?

Ar-Rum 30:36

وَإِذَآ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةٗ فَرِحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ يَقۡنَطُونَ

And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair

Kad dopustimo ljudima da se blagodatima naslađuju, oni im se obraduju, a kad ih pogodi nevolja, zbog onoga što su ruke njihove činile, odjednom očajavaju.

Ar-Rum 30:37

أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe

Zar oni ne znaju da Allah u obilju daje hranu onome kome On hoće, i da uskraćuje? To su, uistinu, dokazi za ljude koji vjeruju.

Ar-Rum 30:38

فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful

Zato podaj bližnjemu pravo njegovo, i siromahu i putniku! To je bolje za one koji nastoje da se Allahu umile; ti će postići šta žele.

Ar-Rum 30:39

وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن رِّبٗا لِّيَرۡبُوَاْ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرۡبُواْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٖ تُرِيدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ

And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers

A novac koji dajete da se uveća novcem drugih ljudi neće se kod Allaha uvećati, a za milostinju koju udijelite da biste se Allahu umilili – takvi će dobra djela svoja umnogostručiti.

Ar-Rum 30:40

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

Allah is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him

Allah vas stvara, i opskrbljuje; On će vam život oduzeti i na kraju vas oživiti. Postoji li ijedno božanstvo vaše koje bilo šta od toga čini? Hvaljen neka je On i vrlo visoko iznad onih koje Njemu smatraju ravnim!

Ar-Rum 30:41

ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِي ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلُواْ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]

Zbog onoga što ljudi rade, pojavio se metež i na kopnu i na moru, da im On dâ da iskuse kaznu zbog onoga što rade, ne bi li se popravili.

Ar-Rum 30:42

قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّشۡرِكِينَ

Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]

Reci: "Putujte po svijetu pa pogledajte kako su onī prije završili; većinom su oni mnogobošci bili."

Ar-Rum 30:43

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلۡقَيِّمِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ يَوۡمٞ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصَّدَّعُونَ

So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided

Zato ti upravi lice svoje prema pravoj vjeri, prije nego što Allahovom voljom nastupi Dan koji niko neće moći odbiti. Toga dana On će ih razdvojiti:

Ar-Rum 30:44

مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ يَمۡهَدُونَ

Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing

oni koji nisu vjerovali – na svoju štetu nisu vjerovali, a oni koji su dobra djela činili – sebi su Džennet pripremili,

Ar-Rum 30:45

لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers

da On iz obilja Svoga nagradi one koji su vjerovali i dobra djela činili; a On, zaista, ne voli nevjernike.

Ar-Rum 30:46

وَمِنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرۡسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٖ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful

Jedan od dokaza Njegovih je to što On šalje vjetrove kao nosioce radosnih vijesti da vam dâ da milost Njegovu osjetite i da lađe voljom Njegovom plove i da iz obilja Njegova stječete, i da biste zahvalni bili.

Ar-Rum 30:47

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نَصۡرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers

I prije tebe smo poslanike narodima njihovim slali i oni su im prave dokaze donosili, pa smo one koji su griješili kažnjavali – a dužnost Nam je bila vjernike pomoći.

Ar-Rum 30:48

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي يُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَيَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفٗا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice

Allah je Taj koji vjetrove šalje, pa oni oblake tjeraju i On ih po nebu, kako On hoće, rasprostire i na komade dijeli, pa ti vidiš kišu kako iz njih pada, i kad je On na robove Svoje na koje želi prolije, oni se odjednom radošću ispune,

Ar-Rum 30:49

وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمُبۡلِسِينَ

Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair

iako su bili očajni prije nego što se spustila na njih.

Ar-Rum 30:50

فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَيۡفَ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ

So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent

Zato pogledaj tragove Allahove milosti – kako On oživi zemlju nakon mrtvila njezina! On će, uistinu, i mrtve oživiti, On sve može.

Ar-Rum 30:51

وَلَئِنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رِيحٗا فَرَأَوۡهُ مُصۡفَرّٗا لَّظَلُّواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ يَكۡفُرُونَ

But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers

A da pošaljemo vjetar i da oni vide da je sve požutjelo, oni bi, i poslije toga, blagodati poricali.

Ar-Rum 30:52

فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَلَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوۡاْ مُدۡبِرِينَ

So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating

Ti ne možeš mrtve dozvati, ni gluhe, kad se od tebe okrenu, dovikati,

Ar-Rum 30:53

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡيِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah]

niti možeš slijepe od zablude njihove odvratiti; možeš jedino dozvati one koji u ajete Naše vjeruju, jedino oni će se odazvati.

Ar-Rum 30:54

۞ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعۡفٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفٖ قُوَّةٗ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةٖ ضَعۡفٗا وَشَيۡبَةٗۚ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡقَدِيرُ

Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent

Allah je Taj koji vas nejakim stvara, i onda vam, poslije nejakosti, snagu daje, a poslije snage iznemoglost i sijede vlasi; On stvara što hoće; On sve zna i sve može.

Ar-Rum 30:55

وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُواْ غَيۡرَ سَاعَةٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُواْ يُؤۡفَكُونَ

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded

A na Dan kad nastupi Čas oživljenja, zločinci će se zaklinjati da su u grobovima samo jedan čas ostali; a i prije su istinu izbjegavali.

Ar-Rum 30:56

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know

A reći će oni kojima je dato znanje i vjerovanje: "Vi ste ostali, prema Allahovoj odredbi, sve do Dana oživljenja – a ovo je Dan oživljenja, samo što vi niste znali."

Ar-Rum 30:57

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]

Toga Dana neće ničem poslužiti pravdanja onima koji su se prema sebi ogriješili i neće se od njih tražiti da se Allahu umile.

Ar-Rum 30:58

وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖۚ وَلَئِن جِئۡتَهُم بِـَٔايَةٖ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ

And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers

U ovom Kur'anu Mi navodimo ljudima svakovrsne primjere. A kad bi im ti ne znam kakvo čudo donio, opet bi rekli oni koji neće da vjeruju: "Vi samo iznosite laži!"

Ar-Rum 30:59

كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know

Eto tako Allah pečati srca onih koji neće da znaju.

Ar-Rum 30:60

فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ وَلَا يَسۡتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith]

A ti budi strpljiv! Allahovo obećanje je, zaista, istina i neka te nikako ne obmanu oni koji čvrsto ne vjeruju.
