Koran 96:2 — soera Al-'Alaq, vers 2

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ

Die de mens (en dus Adams nageslacht) heeft geschapen uit een (levenloze) bloedklonter.
