Koran 9:88 — soera At-Tawbah, vers 88

لَٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥ جَٰهَدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتُۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

Maar de boodschapper en degenen die met hem geloven, streven hard en vechten met hun weelde en hun leven. Zo zijn degenen waar de goede dingen voor zijn en zij zullen degenen zijn die succes hebben.

But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the successful

• Hilali & Khan: But the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and those who believed with him (in Islâmic Monotheism) strove hard and fought with their wealth and their lives (in Allâh’s Cause). Such are they for whom are the good things, and it is they who will be successful.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But the Messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives. It is they who will have all kinds of good, and it is they who are successful.
