Koran 7:179 — soera Al-A'raf, vers 179

وَلَقَدۡ ذَرَأۡنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡيُنٞ لَّا يُبۡصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمۡ ءَاذَانٞ لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ بَلۡ هُمۡ أَضَلُّۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ

Voorzeker, Wij hebben velen van de djinn en de mensen voor de hel geschapen. Zij hebben harten, waarmee zij (de waarheid) niet begrijpen, zij hebben ogen waarmee zij niet zien en zij hebben oren waarmee zij (de verzen) niet horen. Zij zijn zoals het vee! Neen, hun dwaling is zelfs erger (want) zij zijn de achtelozen!

And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless
