Koran 7:135 — soera Al-A'raf, vers 135

فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلرِّجۡزَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ هُم بَٰلِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ

Maar toen Wij de bestraffing verwijderden van hen op een afgesproken tijd, die het had bereikt, zie! Zij braken hun woord!

But when We removed the punishment from them until a term which they were to reach, then at once they broke their word
