Koran 68:9 — soera Al-Qalam, vers 9

وَدُّواْ لَوۡ تُدۡهِنُ فَيُدۡهِنُونَ

Zij willen dat jij compromissen sluit met hen daarom willen zij ook een compromis met jou sluiten.

They wish that you would soften [in your position], so they would soften [toward you]
