Koran 6:10 — soera Al-An'am, vers 10

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

En voorwaar, vóór jou zijn er veel boodschappers bespot, maar hun spotters waren omringd met alles waarover zij spotten.

And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule
