Koran 43:19 — soera Az-Zukhruf, vers 19

وَجَعَلُواْ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عِبَٰدُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ إِنَٰثًاۚ أَشَهِدُواْ خَلۡقَهُمۡۚ سَتُكۡتَبُ شَهَٰدَتُهُمۡ وَيُسۡـَٔلُونَ

En zij maken de engelen die zelf de dienaren van de Barmhartigste zijn tot vrouwen. Waren zij getuigen van hun schepping? Hun bewijs zal genoteerd worden en zij zullen ondervraagd worden!

And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned
