Koran 42:50 — soera Ash-Shuraa, vers 50

أَوۡ يُزَوِّجُهُمۡ ذُكۡرَانٗا وَإِنَٰثٗاۖ وَيَجۡعَلُ مَن يَشَآءُ عَقِيمًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٞ قَدِيرٞ

Of Hij geeft zowel mannelijk als vrouwelijk (nageslacht) en Hij laat onvruchtbaar wie Hij wil. Waarlijk, Hij is Alwetend (over Zijn schepping en haar redenen) en (dus) tot alles in staat (want niets is Hem te machtig of te veel).

Or He makes them [both] males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent
