Koran 42:49 — soera Ash-Shuraa, vers 49

لِّلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ إِنَٰثٗا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ٱلذُّكُورَ

(Alléén) aan Allah behoort het koninkrijk van de hemelen en de aarde. Hij schept wat Hij wil, (zoals Hij wil). Hij geeft (enkel) vrouwelijk (nageslacht) aan wie Hij wil en geeft (enkel) mannelijk (nageslacht) aan wie Hij wil.

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males
