Koran 40:13 — soera Ghafir, vers 13

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُرِيكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزۡقٗاۚ وَمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ إِلَّا مَن يُنِيبُ

Hij is het Die jullie Zijn tekenen toont en voorzieningen voor jullie uit de hemel naar beneden stuurt. En niemand herinnerd dat behalve degenen die zich in berouw (tot Allah) keren (daarom is de dienaar niet geleid door Allah, pas als hij eerlijke Tawbah doet).

It is He who shows you His signs and sends down to you from the sky, provision. But none will remember except he who turns back [in repentance]

• Hilali & Khan: It is He Who shows you His Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and sends down (rain with which grows) provision for you from the sky. And none remembers but those who turn (to Allâh in obedience and) in repentance (by begging His Pardon and by worshipping and obeying Him Alone and none else).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): It is He Who shows you His signs and sends down for you provision from the sky, but none will take heed except those who turn to Him.
