Koran 33:25 — soera Al-Ahzab, vers 25

وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ لَمۡ يَنَالُواْ خَيۡرٗاۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلۡقِتَالَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزٗا

En Allah dreef de ongelovige (bondgenoten) terug door kommer en kwel (vanwege de triomf van de moslims), waarbij zij (in) geen enkel (opzicht) voordeel konden trekken. (Het was) Allah die de gelovigen in het gevecht heeft gevrijwaard (d.m.v. legers bestaande uit windhozen en engelen). En Allah is Krachtig (over alles) Almachtig (en niets of niemand die met Hem om de heerschappij zou kunnen wedijveren).

And Allah repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, not having obtained any good. And sufficient was Allah for the believers in battle, and ever is Allah Powerful and Exalted in Might

• Hilali & Khan: And Allâh drove back those who disbelieved in their rage: they gained no advantage (booty). Allâh sufficed for the believers in the fighting (by sending against the disbelievers a severe wind and troops of angels). And Allâh is Ever All-Strong, All-Mighty.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Allah has repelled the disbelievers in their rage without gaining any good. And Allah spared the believers from fighting, and Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.
