Koran 33:14 — soera Al-Ahzab, vers 14

وَلَوۡ دُخِلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَقۡطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُواْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ لَأٓتَوۡهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُواْ بِهَآ إِلَّا يَسِيرٗا

En als de vijand van alle kanten naar binnen was gekomen en zij zouden aan de beproeving hebben blootgestaan, dan zouden zij dat gedaan hebben en zij hadden daarvoor maar weinig getwijfeld.

And if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly
