Koran 3:90 — soera Ali 'Imran, vers 90

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بَعۡدَ إِيمَٰنِهِمۡ ثُمَّ ٱزۡدَادُواْ كُفۡرٗا لَّن تُقۡبَلَ تَوۡبَتُهُمۡ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

Waarlijk, degenen die ongelovig zijn, nadat zij geloofd hebben en hierna doorgingen in het vermeerderen van hun ongeloof daarvan zal het berouw nooit geaccepteerd worden. En zij zijn het die dwalen.

Indeed, those who reject the message after their belief and then increase in disbelief - never will their [claimed] repentance be accepted, and they are the ones astray

• Hilali & Khan: Verily, those who disbelieved after their Belief and then went on increasing in their disbelief (i.e. disbelief in the Qur’ân and in Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) - never will their repentance be accepted [because they repent only by their tongues and not from their hearts]. And they are those who are astray.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But those who disbelieve after having believed then increase in disbelief, never will their repentance be accepted; it is they who have gone astray.
