Koran 3:17 — soera Ali 'Imran, vers 17

ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلۡمُنفِقِينَ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَغۡفِرِينَ بِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ

(Dat zijn) degenen die geduldig zijn, degenen die waarachtig zijn, en gehoorzaam met een oprechte toewijding in de aanbidding tot Allah. Degenen die bijdragen leveren en degenen die bidden en om Allahs vergeving smeken in de laatste uren van de nacht.

The patient, the true, the obedient, those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn
