Koran 29:33 — soera Al-'Ankabut, vers 33

وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَا لُوطٗا سِيٓءَ بِهِمۡ وَضَاقَ بِهِمۡ ذَرۡعٗاۖ وَقَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَكَ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

En toen Onze boodschappers bij Loet kwamen was hij bedroefd vanwege hen en maakte zich zorgen over hen, zij zeiden: “Heb geen angst en wees niet bedroefd! Waarlijk wij zullen jou en je familie redden behalve je vrouw, zij zal tot degenen behoren die achterblijven.

And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them and felt for them great discomfort. They said, "Fear not, nor grieve. Indeed, we will save you and your family, except your wife; she is to be of those who remain behind

• Hilali & Khan: And when Our Messengers came to Lût (Lot), he was grieved because of them, and felt straitened on their account. They said: "Have no fear, and do not grieve! Truly, we shall save you and your family, except your wife: she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): When Our angel-messengers came to Lot, he was distressed by their coming and felt troubled on their account, but they said, “Do not fear nor grieve; we will surely save you and your family, except your wife; she is one of those who will remain behind.”
