Koran 25:37 — soera Al-Furqan, vers 37

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُواْ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةٗۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا

En Noeh’s volk verdronken Wij toen zij de boodschappers ontkenden, en Wij maakten hen tot een teken voor de mensheid. En Wij hebben voor de onrechtvaardigen een pijnlijke bestraffing voorbereid.

And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment
