Koran 24:16 — soera An-Nur, vers 16

وَلَوۡلَآ إِذۡ سَمِعۡتُمُوهُ قُلۡتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَآ أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ هَٰذَا بُهۡتَٰنٌ عَظِيمٞ

En waarom hebben jullie niet, toen jullie het gehoord hadden gezegd? – “Het is niet goed als wij hierover spreken. Verheerlijk zij U (O Allah) dit is een groot leugen.”

And why, when you heard it, did you not say, "It is not for us to speak of this. Exalted are You, [O Allah]; this is a great slander
