Koran 21:24 — soera Al-Anbya, vers 24

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةٗۖ قُلۡ هَاتُواْ بُرۡهَٰنَكُمۡۖ هَٰذَا ذِكۡرُ مَن مَّعِيَ وَذِكۡرُ مَن قَبۡلِيۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ فَهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ

Of hebben zij voor aanbidding goden naast Hem genomen? Zeg: “Geef je bewijs.” Dit is de Overdenking voor degenen bij mij en de Overdenking voor degene voor mij. Maar de meesten van hen kennen de waarheid niet, dus zijn ze afkerig.

Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], "Produce your proof. This [Qur'an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me." But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away

• Hilali & Khan: Or have they taken for worship (other) âlihah (gods) besides Him? Say: "Bring your proof." This (the Qur’ân) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Or have they taken other gods besides Him? Say, “Bring your proof. Here is the Book of those who are with me, and the Book of those who came before me.” Yet most of them do not know the truth, so they turn away.
