Koran 2:9 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 9

يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَمَا يَخۡدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

Zij (denken) dat zij Allah en degenen die geloven bedriegen, terwijl zij slechts zichzelf bedriegen en zij beseffen (het) niet.

They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not
