Koran 2:208 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 208

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱدۡخُلُواْ فِي ٱلسِّلۡمِ كَآفَّةٗ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ

O jullie die geloven! Ga de Islam in zijn volledigheid binnen, en treed (vooral) niet in de voetstappen van Shaytaan (de duivel). Want waarlijk, hij is een duidelijke vijand voor jullie.

O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy
